Yes its possible for a once in a generation fighter. Similar feats have been achieved in the past to prove the point. Now unless you are privvy to some evidence we are currently aware of kindly shut up.

Pacquiao turned pro when he was like 12.

I wonder how much Mayweather weighed at the same age :think

I think that came up before. Around the time Pacman was starting in the pros I think Mayweather was fighting at around the same weight, but in the amateurs.

As far as i remember anyway.

Aye I think where it becomes more relevant is super bantam. Thats where he somewhat resembles the fighter he is today and is relatively mature physically, though no way near as much as now obviously physically or technically. When you're talking about over 10 years ago its a bit misleading to make out like he's suddenly jumped that much weight.

len harvey fought in every weight division and ted kid lewis started at 116 pounds and ended up fighting at about 170
james toney lightest weight - 157, heavyiest -237
    sam langford lightest weight - 139, heavyiest - 204
    roberto duran lightest weight - 119, heavyiest - 176
thomas hearns lightest weight - 144, heavyiest -191
roy jones lightest weight - 153, heavyiest weight - 193
all of these guys put on more weight throughout there careers than pacquiao and were successful so its unfair to criticise pacquiao with no evidence

How similar ? Name me another fighter who started out at such a low weight to be as successfull as pac. Yes theres fighters that have climbed weights but not the way or fashion he has. Hes on his own. Mayweathers climbed weights, he was a very hard puncher but the more hes climbed up the weights the less effective hes become power wise, obviously the skills still there where as pacs becoming more hurtfull power wise

James toney, roberto duran, roy jones never walked through the best at there final weight, competitve yes but these guys have'nt the quality/win resume like pac nowhere near

Pac's power has not improved as he's moved up, that's a myth. It's his speed that has helped him so much.

David Diaz - did you see how much punishment Diaz took through 9 rounds before finally being KO'd?
DLH fight - Pac fighting a punchbag and couldn't drop him.
Hatton fight - says more about Hatton than Pac's power tbh. Ricky's punch resistance is gone.
Cotto fight - early knockdowns were due to speed and angles. Cotto did not see those punches coming at all. After 4 or 5 rounds Cotto was out of it and Pac couldn't finish it off. It took a mercy stoppage from the ref.
