    Nah, he's still eating massive amounts of calories to stay that high, getting up in the middle of the night for an extra meal and ****. Pac could probably still fight at lightweight comfortably.

    I'm in agreement, Pac showed up at the right weight and this maximizes his chances. I will say that he doesn't looked as ripped for whatever reason, but I'm expecting the same old Pac.

    War Margarito :bbb

    I guess you didn't watch the last 24/7. Margo has like a 12 pack, absolutely no muffin top, dude is as ripped as a human being can possibly get.

    Why are you guys so determined to hate on Manny? Why don't you just give him his props for what he's doing? Be a BOXING fan, not a Floyd nuthugger. It's just embarassing.

    jesus what the **** is going on here? how is my saying pac looked a little soft around the center me hating on him? i'm actually making the point because i worry about the substantial money i have on him tomorrow. and for the record, **** stick, what might be embarrassing is not being able to spell the word, 'embarrassing', which you, cannot.

    I thought you were saying Margo looked soft, not Pac. My bad. Pac did have some fat around the middle. And you don't need a comma in the sentence fragment "which you, cannot."

    I speak for myself when I say that the 144lbs. is unfair as a boxing fan, not a manny hater or floyd fan at all. I'm trying to put myself in the situation a SuperWelterWeight fighter would feel fighting without the SuperWelterWeight perks. You guys should also try and be unbiased and look at it from another point of view. Imagine for a second that not Margarito, but someone else (Xwarrior) a lot more respected/popular and recognized for being a true WelterWeight were to fight Manny. Now imagine Manny being the challenger at 154. Would you think this Xwarrior would accept the terms where he'd be at 150 catch-weight and his opponent at 144? No. Either the challenger gains the poundage or there is simply no catch-weight. The only reason Hatton, Cotto, Clottey and now Margarito have accepted those terms is because they want their biggest pay-day in their careers. They know it's unfair. They know Manny should be fighting 135lbs title holders instead. Point is a true SuperWelterWeight would be at around 170 on fight night and that has not been the case for any of Manny's opponents at all. It's the complete opposite.

    dude stfu you ***** noob, no one cares what some idiot like you thinks.. if its so unfair to boxing fans then don't watch the ****ing fight. Jesus christ

    You are no boxing fan to begin with, you would have hated Henry Armstrong and Sugar Ray Robinson, and thought they were frauds for beating bigger guys

    Three things;

    1. This will not improve Margarito's defence
    2. This will not make Margarito any quicker than he is.
    3. This will not make Pac any slower

    Those are the defining points in this fight.

    By your logic, Manny could fight Martinez, Williams or even LightHeavyWeights as long as they make a catch-weight and lose their heavy perks. Think for a second bro.

    This post is wrong on several accounts but i'll limit myself to 2 here:

    1. if you don't want to fight manny at a catch weight don't fight manny at a catch weight. if you are insinuating margarito is "forced" to because manny is the attraction, then he has two options: fight manny at a catch weight, or go spend the time, put in the effort and beat up enough people so that you can wield the power to dictate your own stipulations. if you want to ride the manny train to instant super stardom, you have to play by his rules. this much, he has earned. and he can only make these rules, if you are willing to play by them. you in effect, create the market.

    2. a super welterweight would be at around 170 at fight night? perhaps in this modern age of early weigh ins. in the true era of boxing, in its purest form, he should be at 154 on fight night; the super welterweight weight limit. if margarito does rehydrate to 168, manny will actually be the closer of the two, to the correct weight.

    I didn't realize I needed your permission to post in a public forum. My mistake. Don't let points get to you though. They're making you raise your blood pressure old man.
