how do you guys view badr hari ?

very skilled fighter speed, power, technique all for a guy 6'6".

his chin is suspect, and he has problems controling his temper.

he should have been k1 gp champ by now but always comes up short.....another case of talent being frustratingly wasted on someone too immature to harness it.

 

No ground game that I am aware of.

I agree though, he is possibly the best technical striker in the game, only problem is he does get knocked down or out more than you would like to see.

not cool for a young guy needing to focus on his career.... not cool for any fighter really.

 

He isn't an MMA fighter though, pure kickboxer; hell of a kickboxer though.

 

I'm watching my way through Badr Hari's career now. He is a real beast. I love that he has a rivalry with Overeem. I wish that would spill over into MMA. Could you imagine an Overeem vs Hari fight in Strikeforce? That would be electric. I'd have to take Overeem to smash him in MMA though. All he would have to do is dive for the double to put Badr on his back and it's all over. Still - if Badr could catch him he could KO him.

 

I love watching Hari fight but in fairness, while Hari outclassed him on the feet, Overeem rag dolled him and had him on the floor in the first ten seconds....in MMA it would have been over shortly after that.

That was the plan initially when they fought in 2008, they were going to fight K1 (as most assumed Hari would win) and then there was talk of a fight MMA the following Spring iirc.

But Overeem winning the K1 fight kiboshed the plans i believe.

 

i'm pretty sure Hari fought MMA 1 time and got like forearm choked in the first minute.
