So, what you are saying you base his ranking on him beating one of the worse alphabet belt holders and speculation. Well, of course you can do so but if you do you must also live with me critizising it.
Here's my list (in no particular order) 1. Louis 2. Ali 3. Holmes 4. Marciano 5. Lewis 6. Johnson 7. Dempsey 8. Foreman 9. Frazier 10. Tyson 11. Holyfield 12. Bowe 13. Wladimir Klitschko 14. I thought i would throw in a bit of H2H , i thought i would use greatness too though that how some of the little guys who rode to work on dinosaurs got in there.
Not really. Guys like Fitz, Moore, Greb and so on are in there because they have the resume and/or achievements for it. Jones was a great fighter but ranking him as a Top30 at hw based on one fight? Sorry, buddy, that´s reaching too far. The divsision has 130 years of history with thousands of fighters competing, do you really think one win over an average guy is good enough to be amongst the best ever there?

Well, he was one of the best defensive heavyweights of all time, he beat some good opponents, including Holyfield ( Holy was past his prime, yes)....but, i think Byrd deserves credit for always fought at a huge size and weight disadvantage.... Excuse me my english is not very good ...
no special order : ali holmes louis lewis liston foreman frazier tyson dempsey marciano charles patterson bowe holyfield max baer norton johnson jeffries schmeling walcott archie moore wlad klitschko gene tunney bob fitzsimmons shavers quarry langford
Probably because i copied Muchmoore's list & then fiddled around with it, since i didn't feel like typing out all the names. Now i'll have to decide who to include, to replace "Holmes 2".
