Margo was 154 like 2 weeks ago, i dont think dropping those 4lbs in 2 weeks made him drained...I give him credit for dropping the weight slow and steady and not draining.

I don't care, personally. Pac had a choice to come in heavier and stronger. So, I'm not impressed that he is fighting at, yet another, CW in a CW division, for a vacant title neither fighter deserves to be fighting for, and decided to come in smaller to retain speed. But, you go ahead and be impressed by that man. :-(

This is exactly when the WBC needs to step up and do their job, No way should pac be awarded that title if he wins tonight, he is under the welter weight limit.

However I am not so sure about Pacs conditioning I still say he is 100% but honestly the video of the weigh in Pac looked to me like he was a little softer than his norm even when he fought DLH at 145 he didnt look this soft.....

Weight limits are pretty arbitrary anyway. Its not like they are decided by some scientific criteria. If both fighters are happy to fight at a certain weight, that should be enough. I don't think a middleweight title should be on the line though

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH MR.MONTE FISTO, 2 WEEKS IS PLENTY OF TIME TO DROP 4 POUNDS FOR ANY ELITE ATHLETE. THE QUESTION SHOULD BE WHAT IND OF SPEED IS MARGARITO GOING TO BRING INTO THE RING, HOPEFULLY HE HAS BEEN WORKING ON IT AS WELL AS MORE BODY AND HEAD MOVEMENT.

There is no minimum limit. Margarito agreed to the catchweight, and has an advantage anyway. That title is BS.

Only on ESB could coming in light be an unfair advantage.

damn this thread became violent over night...we can all agree to disagree but the name calling and threats is childish...i get caught up on it sometimes but thats just the passion of being boxing fans..this just goes to show that boxing is still in the limelight and the fierce competition between diff nations, races and favorite boxers is still alive...racist rants dont belong here and threating others lives and the name calling is garbage already...LETS AGREE TO DISAGREE AND ASK THAT PERSON WHY IF U DONT LIKE THE ANSWER THEN U COME BACK WITH UR THEORY...LATER ESB WAITING FOR HAYE -FRAUDLEY TO START AT 5...AS FAR AS ADVANTAGES ARIZA AND ROACH SAID THAT MANNY BEING THAT LIGHT WORKS IN HIS ADVANTAGE AS THEY WANT MARG TO GET HEAVIER SO THAT HE CAN BE EVEN SLOWER...so im pretty sure they are banking on manny attacking in and out and busting his face up...manny by 5-8 ko

The belts are put on the line by paying sanctioning fees.

If fighters exceed the weight limit, the belt automatically is not on the line as penalty. However, if a fighter comes under the weight range of the fight, the sanctioning body does not have any say to that matter. However the State's boxing commission like NSAC, etc can withhold the license for safety reasons.

All that the sanctioning body care about is that they are paid sanctioning fees. They are as corrupt as everybody else.

It would be unfair to Wlad if he fought Pac... Pac would be at a clear advantage.. You know, being lighter and all..
