How is it fair to put guys ahead of others when there is no footage of some fighters available how can you make a fair judgement then? i know boxing was a lot tougher 100 years ago, but I think we can alle judge based on what fights are visable to us not what boxrec or some old guy says. thats why I think its more fair to messure the fighters from 60's on with eachother. they also have the relatively same amount of fights not 200 or something.

 I only found out how to use the ignore function recently :)patsch). But I have immediately started putting it to good use. I can't believe I went so long without it.

That Marshmallows guy was the first one on there, I got sick of looking at his disgusting face and his awful posts. Every poster get's a fair trial of course, but this Marcelo guy is an idiot beyond all boundaries. He is obsessed with Pac to the degree that he not only worships Pac, but also worships his no#1 nuthugger - PacDbest. When I suggested that maybe PacDBest's son had ADHD, Marcelo stated that I was ADHD. Not I have ADHD, I was ADHD. The guys a fanatic and an idiot. I wouldn't be surprised if he killed someone or brought down a skyscraper in the name of his beloved Pacman :-(.

By reading reports? By looking at their resumé's and the guys they've beating. By watching film of the guys they've beaten?

There's no footage of Greb for example [I'm convinced there is somewhere, but it's not available to us the public to watch], but looking at the fighters he's beaten and reading reports, it's safe to assume he one of the greatest fighters ever.

I think it's fair to assume also that he wasn't exactly a slouch when you read reports of him winning 9 of 10 rounds against Tommy Loughran and beating Loughran over a 3 fight series. Especially when you watch Loughran on film and assess his own ATG standing.

I think Marshmellows will essentially be talking to himself on here soon enough, because nobody is going to be seeing his posts.

I agree with you, everything he has done is tainted because of the drug testing issue, not having Hearns top 20 on your list is a crime.Manny is about top 60,40 at the most, but then again i dont even have Holyfield on my list because of the roids,so i'll wait and see what all comes out about the drug testing. The resume is weak, his accomplishments are indeed great, but watching both Marquez fights leaves some doubt for me,he lost both of those fights, and he didnt show the ability to finish him when he had him in trouble like a ATG.

Belts mean a lot less thn they used to in this day and age, I prefer to look at the names on his record instead of numberof belts.

That said,, I agree he should be rated highly. My boxing history isn't so good but surely top 20, top 15 would be arguable.

Wait 5-10 yeas after his retirement when we can look on it wth some pespective an I think he'll be up there in the top 20.

Belts are meaningless, your right its all about who you beat and who beat you,and even that is thin these days credabilty in boxing these are at a all time low.

It's not tainted at all. The drug-testing was never an issue until the Mayweather's between them came out with the whole PED thing. It was never mentioned before. Manny has never tested positive for any type of substance or performance enhancing drug, so innocent until proven guilty.

Hearns does not belong with those names in the top 20 in my opinion. I have been guilty of under-rated him in the past - largely because of his losses - and have bumped him up in my estimation to sit comfortably in a top 40. But top 20? Nah, not for me.

Are you guys the same Pac haters that Pacdbest owned in the past? Who among you were KG0208, acb. amsterdam, huki, etc?

7 (maybe 8 by tonight) titles in as many weight divisions, 4 titles in 4 of the original 8 weight divisions (Henry Armstrong has 3) surely qualifies a top 15 ATG. If that is not enough then Pac has got tobe G.O.A.T. scrutizined and underappreciated boxer. I bet a win over both Klitschkos would not crack him in the top 20 for some. Don't believe me? Just read the posts.

    Numbers Don't Lie

There are times when we like an athlete so much that we want things to happen that are almost impossible for him/her to achieve. And like a destiny, this happened to Manny Pacquiao. He won a historic seven world titles in seven weight divisions; four of which were lineal titles and all of them came from a knock out win against the world champion and claimant.
