That was a great performance, considering how hurt he was. He came back like a fighter with much more experience than he has. He showed flaws, sure, but he has character that will take him to the next level.

Degale would beat him in my opinion.

    Agreed.

But bloody hell Anderson will play the fight over and over in his head, he almost did enough to KO Groves in the early rounds.

Good to see you're watching the card, mate. I doubt many American's are that interested in the main, never mind the undercard.

  6. tremendous performance. really really good scrap. i thought groves was done but he came back strong with those body shots. crazy stuff.

I'd be watching it right now if I had access to it. I heard German TV ARD will televise the Haye-Harrison fight, though.

I agree he showed character but I'd fancy DeGale to beat him after watching him tonight, I thought it was harder to call after his fight with Adamu.

Wasn't the stoppage a bit early?

I didn't think so. Anderson wasn't throwing anything back and wasn't even really defending himself. It wasn't a brutal KO obviously but I thought it was a legit stoppage even though I wanted Anderson to win.

Oh I agree with you that he looked dead tired out there... I just think the ref could've given him a standing count.

Can you do that in Commonwealth title fights (honest question I don't know if the rules allow it)?

Anderson maybe should have taken a knee if he had his wits about him.

  15. at first i thought that it might have been early but anderson didnt complain and he looked hurt. very good stoppage actually.
