boxers who have done more have had their purse held...it was obvious he had no intention of ever doing anything.

Absolutely not. If anything the people who put this fight together should get punished, any reasonable thinking person knew what was going to happen when Audley was dumped in with the Hayemaker.

He had every intention, he just wasn't capable.

He had no business being in there with Haye, and to be fair Haye/Booth had no business making that fight. I really, really feel for him after tonight. The whole thing was cruel beyond belief.

For me no....because it won't mean a thing, from Outside things he will still of earned loads to of had a nice pay day. He's not only guy that's been negative and froze. He won't be last. This was always on the cards (Audley's display). I did not expect Haye to do the same.

    Humiliation is enough for me....

No, if anyones purse deserves to be taken its Haye's, he made the fight and it should never have even been sanctioned in the first place. An embarrassment to boxing.

No,he came in and took a beating. It was a disapointing show from Audley but he was just over matched.I hoped he could do it but he was simply beaten by a better fighter. He should be paid and then he should hang em up.

Worst fight I've ever seen...Haye and Harrison are both significantly, significantly richer [than you!] for doing **** all...probably, less than 30 seconds of action, and millions each in pay...nice work if you can get it!

You're wrong. Harrison IS a tryer. He doesn't embarrass himself on average every 18-24 months because he's a masochist. Out of the ring he believes. In it he's scared.

McGuigan is spot on - he's deluded.

He doesn't do it on purpose.

He was too terrified to even throw a punch. It was an awful display but he took a hammering so he deserves his beating.

David Price against that Lativian earlier this year that's major example. It's a dangerous thing to demand fighters to do things that maybe they cannot do. Ie. Engage and trade etc. If a fighter freeze's or bottles it then they face losing and humiliation not having purse taking away as they got in and just couldn't perform like other sportsman can't in there selected professions.

We must respect not all fighters can be warriors and hero's some just aren't mentally/physically able. There's a fine line between taking a dive and just freezing and being negative. Audley didn't take a dive..he froze as ever IMO. Not a shock, just another Audley display. He took some punches, he was out of depth simple as.

i hear you..but, i dunno....one jab in three rounds.....it was so obvious he didnt want to try....not just outclassed....he could have tried something and then got ko'd, fair enough...but he had NO intention of doing anything.

this isnt a latvian nobody, this is a challenger for a heavyweight world title.
