He openly admitted to carrying Audley for 3 rounds because he had a bet on. In a PPV event that is shocking.

Everything about that fight stunk. I thought Haye would take him out in the second, but that was worse than I could possibly have imagined. I think it was staged

So do I. Audley had no intention of winning.

Lol i think this is getting out of proportion.

it wasnt that bad, most posters on the other forums are already over it and talking about pac/marg.

It wasn't necessarily staged or fixed. It was just a case of Audley Harrison not being very good at professional boxing and Haye knew he could stop him whenever he wanted. Shame on whichever geniune boxing fans that fell for this fight and paid £15 for it. Sky managed to fool the general public again which they'll probably be able to do next time they sell a fight. In the end I couldn't really give a toss. I'm looking forward to Pacquiao's slightly entertaining fight against Margarito tonight then this month really kicks on with Martinez v Williams II and Froch v Abraham and Marquez v Katsidis in the next few months.

Shame on Steve Bunce saying this was a great week for boxing. It was a joke.

All real followers of boxing knew that Audley shouldn't be allowed anywhere near Haye and that he, Haye, had only picked Audley as an opponent as apart from a Klitschko it was the best payday out there...

Only casual fans and youngsters expected anything else.

There was nothing false or fixed about this fight.

I thought Audley would have a real go as it was his one and only chance. As it was he was just over matched. It was not a fix and I dont really know how much truth there is in what Haye said about this bet.It was a mis match. The Wlad v Chisora fight is going to be just as bad.

How many times did Muhammed Ali pick his round? And Prince Naseem did it as well. Much the same thing.

Ali predicted rounds. He didn't carry his oponents or just do nothing for full rounds like Haye did.:verysad

He should be charged with bringing the sport into disrepute. The result should be changed to a no-contest & the wba should order an immediate rematch.

Did Bunce say it was a great week for boxing after the fight?

    Don't forget Khan-Maidana :good

Audley didn't throw anything. OK, he may have been super nervous- but its not like Haye jumped on him and smothered him. He had a great opportunity to let his hands go and go for broke- but he didn't. At times he even stood against the ropes waiting for Haye to attack him, as if he had forgotten which round he was meant to go down. In the first (?) round the ref even had to tell both fighters to fight each other. On top of that, its debatable whether they have ever even disliked eachother. Of course, now they're best mates again

There is more than enough cause for suspicion

You reckon he didn't carry his opponents until the predicted round?

Don't know if it is solely Hayes fault but of course this fight has damaged boxings reputation.

The fights on the very biggest stage determine boxings popularity, every casual fan thinks boxing is a pile of shite tonight...its a shame theres a fight involving a Brit in 2 weeks that deserves the attention this fight has got but you can guarantee nobody will have a clue about the Froch-AA fight amongst the general public.

No, I don't think Haye has damaged Boxing's reputation, if he fought at the MEN Arena next, it would be a sell out again.
