Haye hasn't demonstrated that he's better than Sanders or Brewster at heavyweight, and he wont hit Wlad flush like that. Wlad will toy with him
You keep going on as if Haye has the ability to fight a good inside game. Being fast and powerful doesn't guarantee a KO against Wlad.
Wlad's biggest strength is his biggest weakness. Once you get past that jab he's seriously deficient. I agree with what you say unfortunately I don't see Haye going after Wlad so early like that. He should consider it, though. I don't think Haye could ever emulate Tyson, maybe in training but he's not comfortable attacking in the mid to in-fighting range. So I'm not saying that. Would be a surprise.
why even talk about the matchup? If haye had and balls what so ever he would have fought one of the Klitschko's by now. Just another bum british fighter with no guts
Even if you don't think Valuev or even Ruiz is better than those two, it's quite clear Haye is a better fighter. Sanders and Brewster were just tough punchers. Even in his last fight, Wlad was hit flush by an incredibly slow Peter, who never has had any punching technique. If Peter can, Haye will.
Pacquaio would have knocked audley out tonight. This was the most disgraceful display as a heavyweight fight I have ever seen. The only conclusion you can draw from this is that Audley is a total BUM and Haye ripped off the UK fans. This fight had nothing to do with Wlad.
Wlad's chin isn't as bad as is being made out - he can take a shot. But he panics when he does. Luckily his natural attributes and Steward's training has meant that he never gets hit much - but like the fight against Thompson - one of the last times I saw Wlad under any real pressure in the first round (only round tony really did anything), when Tony did move forward, and landed a bit, Wlad did panic a bit, and looked really uncomfortable. Haye should fight Vitali first - use countering to beat him, which will have wlad/steward setting up a game plan for the haye that fought vitali - then when haye fights wlad - spend half of the 1st round acting like he's gonna do the same thing, then change, and suddenly start coming forward - however, he needs to be almost reckless, while being mindful of wlads right hand and left hook. Obviously - that's not easy, but I really think that he can do it - and is probably the only boxer in the HW division with the skills, and ability to pull it off.
Corrie Sanders came off the golf course fat and out of shape and sparked out Wlad cause the guy is useless against guys with fast hands and power, if you don't think todays version of Haye is better than that version of Sanders you're deluded.
I love how the Klit fans try to make out Sanders was amazing because he smashed Wlad to pieces, Sanders never was particularly good and Haye is in a different league. Haye KO Wlad in 4
