No way in hell does Marg win. I was never really high on Margarito. I always thought he was a slow plodder, with little skill, but one who was blessed with a chin that allowed him to take a lot of punishment, and he does have good stamina. But come on. Paul Williams whooped his ass, Mosley KO ed him, Cotto was giving him a boxing lesson before he gassed. Margarito, may be tough and has heart, hut he doesn't have elite level skills, nor does he possess power.

A Pacquiao at 70% should beat him easily. I hope people aren't buying into all the 24/7 hype, and actually starting to believe that this is a competitive fight that Pac could actually lose because it's not. Margarito never has been, and never will be an elite fighter and he's not going to win tonight.

Well I got one fight wrong already tonight,I stupidly backed Aud so I might as well carry on picking the underdog.Margo wins by stoppage.Pac aint trained properly Margo catches him hurts him and forces him into a corner.Pac taking loads of shots the ref steps in.5th round.

It's an ambitious pick but there are reasons to question the result...unlike Haye/Audley. Anyone who picked Audley tonight either hate Haye or haven't watched much Boxing.

  4. my problem is - if pac who has short reach, and is far smaller has to get INSIDE margo to land - he'll get hit. He got damaged by what clottey and cotto landed. Margo is extremely motivated, and will throw as much as he can - because anything that lands is a bonus. I don't think Pac can knock margo out - I'd be amazed if he could in all honesty. Pac can't do what mosley did - he's too small and is a different style of fighter. Cotto has greater reach than Pac and by the 8-9th round was starting to badly struggle after having to move around all the time, and seeing his punches hardly do any damage.

Pac's been cut before - Margo's punches have a history of cutting people up - I think there's a chance that cuts could play a huge part in this fight.

I just thought he would give it his all for once.It was his big night. It was always a long shot for the win but I thought at the very least he would make a fight of it.

People need to start appreciating that Haye is a world class operator. The guy has been fighting his whole life...and some people here are going to pick Audley because "I thought he'd give it a good effort". I guarantee, Margarito actually will give it his best effort tonight, but that might not be enough because he has a world class operator standing in front of him.

You picked Audley because you haven't yet began to appreciate Haye as a world class athlete. A top level Boxer. Hate him? Sweet. Cool. But if you put an Audley in front of him, a super motivated Audley even, he's going to knock him out 9/10.

All this talk of Tony Thompson beating Haye is almost as ridiculous. Some people can't detatch their emotions from reality.

I don't believe Pacquiao is 100% heading into this fight, but I agree with your assessment...Tony has a real chance if he can walk Pacquiao down fast enough before Manny darts out....Pacquiao can be walked down...
