True, but there's nothing we can do about it, and as a Boxing Fan, I just want to see good fights, and Haye-Harrison was not.

So I'm looking forward to this a ton more :good

Slip seems to be a big fan. Like you I think I have only seen Jones once maybe twice and wasn't sold on him seems another technically sound fighter with no real stand out ability. I'd say he could be a belt holder if his path is chosen right but loses to a lot of fighters. He should beat Karass tonight though should be a decent fight as Soto doesn't give up.

A mismatch? Maybe, but who has Pacquiao got left to fight?

At least Margarito will throw punches and sustain punishment.

Margarito looks in amazing condition. If he hasn't struggled with the weight Pacquiao will have a huge task on his hands. Margarito looks like a beast.

Jeff Lacy looked a beast. He's got to impose that strength to have any chance.

He'll struggle to impose his pressure and size on Pacquiao in the early going the speed of foot Pacquiao has. He might get to him later on if he hasn't been ground down by Pacquiao's bursts but even if he does I'm not sure he has the power to change a fight quickly. I consider Cotto a harder puncher than Marg and Pacquiao seemed to laugh at his power.

    Condition means nothing.

Clottey, Cotto were in great shape, but only to look like lambs, which Margarito will be, except he's a bigger one.

If you watch Margarito's previous fight, you'll honestly say, Pacquiao will murder him, but don't do it as it'll kill your evening (If I haven't done it already by saying this )

I'm not buying into this Pac not focused thing but I think this could be a close fight. Marg looks in amazing shape if he can drag Pac past the 8th or 9th I really think it could go either way.

I suppose the one thing Margarito has in his favour over Cotto is if he can play the human punch bag early and then come through it, he will have greater stamina and strength reserves down the stretch. Pacquiao was never under pressure against Cotto later on because he'd beaten all the life out of him; plus Cotto had a history of fading. It was more or less Pacquiao hunting down Cotto from round 6 or 7 onwards. It would be interesting if Margarito can sustain his usual punishment and come through it later on.

Margarito is a proven fighter, Harrison isn't.

Yeah, read the rest of what I said?

Conditioning obviously does mean a lot, but as you didn't read underneath it, I justified my point in saying, Clottey and Cotto were in great condition, but Pacquiao still beat the living shite out of them.
