I was so sold on Rigo, but now I'm starting to question my analysis of him.

I like Rigondeaux fight, very clinical and clean. The judges who scored the fight for Cordoba needs to ban banned from the sport, because they do not understand the sport of boxing.

I was never sold on him. I'm not sold on any of the Cubans TBH.

that's what happens when you over rate boxers that haven't done **** yet... your analysis of him was against weak competition and from his accomplishments in the amateurs.. he's talented but i think he's not strong enough or have the power to last against the top guys in the division

    :hat

yeah rigondeaux ruined that fight it was definetely a safety first performance but unfortunately that is often the amateur boxing mentality but what was going on with the scorecards i dont see how 1 of the judges had cordoba winning the fight

Yeah after a whole 6 fights, he shoulda knocked out a 40 fights plus veteran who beat Caballero! Damn wussy! - end sarcasm

Exactly what I was thinking. The guy beat a very good veteran in his 7th fight.

Hows a guy run the last five rounds and not only win but get HBO support. Oh yeah money and promotional bias

It was only his 7th fight, and he beat a guy who has a great career, who is way taller and has much more reach than him. That's what he needed to to. Why go there and try to trade punches with the guy? You have shaky legs, as you have always had with Cuban fighters.

Possibly because the other fighter was spastic and threw ****?
