I felt he should've gone for a body shot KO if he didn't wanna permanently damage Margo.

But I think it was his way of giving Margo credit for his unbelievable heart and courage,

I think this should have been applied to margo in the 6th round. His body shot nearly folded pac in half, pac was ready to drop. Why Margo kept head hunting after that beats me, it clear pac weakness is his body margo should have attacked way more than he did, because when he did he had pac hurt big time.

Yeah, he was just finishing the fight while letting Margo keep some pride (or mana as we call it down here). Margo threw punches and fought hard all night, Pac just wanted to leave him some pride and let him leave the ring safely after what was a beating at the end of the day

He's a good guy, that's why. He had it in the bag and he took his foot of the gas. I hate Margarito as much as anyone, but I thought it was really cool. Fair play.

I just started a thread about the same thing. I noticed in the 11th round Manny talking to Margo. Then right after that he let his foot of the gas. MAnny is a good guy he could of seriously hurt or damaged margo. but yes i did notice it too.

look at the 4th round, pac also clearly hurt margo with a body shot which is also apparently the weakness of margo. pac also didn't follow it up and was almost exclusively head-hunting during the fight.

mosley also went for margo's body in the early parts of their fight. and we all know what happened to margo in that fight.

It was a good fight. I wouldn't blame Pac for not finishing him, Margo was a tough mu****a last night. Still, I hope Pac doesn't fight anyone as big as Margarito again. He should stick to welterweight and if he can't fight Floyd he should take one stay busy fight, and if Floyd is still avoiding him after that he should just retire. Pac has nothing to prove now

I had a word with Freddie, had a bet on a Pac decison/Haye KO.

pac was quoted in a post-fight interview saying that he didn't want to permanently injure margo and that boxing wasn't about killing each other. the guy is just a consummate sportsman and good human being.

In the post-fight interview Pac was asked the same thing. Unscripted, he replied, "...boxing is not about killing each other...". A very quotable quote!

This. Margo is already a beaten man so Pac took it easy on Margo in the last 2 rounds.
