“He has the worst corner,It probably ruined his career by not stopping the fight… . He might never fight again. He took too many unnecessary punches.”

From 6 onwards many unanswered clean punches that were snapping he's had back. Garcia post fight said he would have never stopped the fight? WTF?

It's prolly that do or die attitude...it was unnecessary but culture prevails...

  4. i wouldnt have stopped it. this was margarito's last chance at anything big. his career is essentially over. who wants to see him fight now? the man fought bravely but its time to bow out with dignity. maybe fight once or twice more make some more money and then call it a day. his brain is probably very damaged by now.

I won't throw in know towel on a Mexican I'll let the Ref due it before I mess up that relationship. Notice how after trainers throw in towels they get fired? It's like a big trust issue, you can't tell a man in camp u believe in him and then throw in towel during the fight.

I remember being pissed at roach when he stopped Penalosa vs JuanMa fight due to the punishment Gerry was enduring. Looking back, Gerry was still landing solid punch or two against 4 or 5 of JaunMa's , this fight is worst than that. As much i want to deny it, i'm with Roach on this.

You know that something's wrong with the corner when the winning fighter is carrying the other one's fate (Pac signaling / glancing at Cole).

Also want to mention the poor performance of the cutman, he missed the right spot to cut (eye of the swelling) of margo's right eye - it looks oversized embossed and too purple.

He should have stopped it in the 10th. The fighters may be too proud to quit but the trainer should know better when to call it quits and minimize the damage to his fighter.

I woulda stopped it after the tenth - if not earlier.
Margo's eye would have been the deciding factor for me - if he could've seen properly I would've let him go as long as he wanted, but it was clear that he couldn't see **** at that stage (despite him satisfying the doc / ref) and it really was time to call it a night.

No, i wanted Margacheato to get what he deserved by being completly knocked senseless and punished. Pac should have gone more to town on that piece of ****.

Plasterito got the beating he needed im just sad he wasnt carried out to hospital.

And a big **** you dickhead to all his daft fans who thought he could win. He didnt win a single round

    You were told.

In a day and age where Mexican fighters are quitting on their stool, you need guys like Margarito to uphold the attitude they were so well known for.

No, it was nice to see both boxer and trainer not panic or act like squeamish pansies like many boxing fans do. This is a man's sport, and Garcia and Margarito acted like men. I wish more fighters, trainers, officials and fans would do this.
