I can sort of sympathize with the perspective because it is an advantage that was allowed in one scenario and not another due to possible favoritism. The commission seems generally inconsistent. Again, no bearing on the outcome, but still.

Actually, it was allowed in the DLH fight. And it was allowed in this fight. Because the wraps DLH had were legal.

No favoritism. It just wasn't illegal.

I remembered the thing for the DLH fight too.

Freddie complained about it when Manny fought Oscar then later admitted he wrapped Oscar's hands the same way when he trained him for Mayweather fight and was just playing mind games.

The results would still be the same, regardless.

Agreed, Pac or Roach are not cheaters as far as the handwraps are concerned.......the title on my thread is for effect so that posters can click to read.....

......the premise of my thread is'nt really about cheating but hypocrisy.

.......and btw, the inspector for DLH made him reduce the amount of tape and gauze applied inbetween the fingers.......that was'nt done here.

.....and there is'nt anyone who's commented on Garcia's contention that the inspector who oversaw him wrapping Margarito was telling him, "the fist at the top should be flat, no ridges."

......which is why I'm complaining about the commision not having their inspectors on the same page....one inspector allows ridges, the other does'nt.
    Which just is'nt right.

......but of course none of the tards want to comment on this......all they want to know is that Pac won.....whatever else happened should'nt be up for debate......

.....look at those fools make a mountain out of a mole hill over Margarito opening a package and pouring it on a cup he did'nt drink.

They want to talk about that, but not the ridges on Pacquiao's handwraps.:lol::lol::nut

    Texas is a corrupt commission.
Oscar and Arum are also currupt promoters.

    roach has always lied, cheated.
Most of his Wild Card Gym fighters are linked to PED's through the former BALCO guy-conte.

Texas does'nt even test for EPO Steroids/Hormones at all.

Texas did whatever Oscar and Arum told then too do.

I think it's a fair point you raise, but dude, people don't want to talk about legitimate topics, that are thought provoking and/or may cause them to have to think a little. Perhaps you could go back and retitle your thread Pac vs. Ivan Drago who wins and why and you may get a better response.

You silly child . I'm more likely to take an authentic news report seriously, than the theories of a sad internet poster. So please, find me a news report so I can learn more about this issue.

I mean you're sitting here complaining about Roach wanting to use the same handwraps (which were deemed legal by the way) that his opponent, Oscar, was using. But to you that's cheating? Get outta here with that ****, man.

.....actually I dont think Roach wrapped DLH's hands, but he witnessed it, and did'nt feel it was correct.....of course Roach is not going to say anything unless the opposing camp protests......

Roach however took what he saw, and was ready to protest knowing DLH was going to wrap that way vs his fighter Pacquiao.

I think this pointless thread is the perfect place to pointlessly post my 500th post.

Nothing illegal about it but thanks for pointing out this 'hypocrisy', for I have learned something from this and reveals Roach to be a brilliant tactictian, the premier mind fcker in the bizness...looks like he reads and applies Sun Tzu's code on psychologic warfare in the seminal thesis, the Art of War. Roach would be negligent in his responsibility as a trainer qua manager if he did not exhuast all possible tricks to fck the other team...as long as he is within the bound of the written rule, deception, as you call hypocrisy, is called for. Part of the battle in the ring is fought outside the ring...you should be glad that these guys are giving our money's worth, entertaining us with the fights they fight and at the same time getting some lessons on the art of fighting without fighting!
