Pacman vs the big Fours

Anyone remember back in the days, there were 2 sets of the big Fours:

First set: Pacquiao, Marquez, Barrera, Morales >>>>> winner = Pacman

Second set: Mayweather, Hatton, Cotto, Margarito. And now we have the official answer, winner = Pacman :rofl :admin

Pacman did what Mayweather should have done. Should Pacman take on the super six? :nut

Mosley is apart of the big 4 not Hatton. Mosley actually fought Cotto, margarito, and Floyd.

 

Back then Mosley was campaining in the middle weights so he was not part of the welterweight big four. You have to remember how things were back then.

 

Hatton doesn't belong with Cotto and Margarito.

 

Hatton was never seen as a welterweight the way Mosley is. He wasn't at 147 for a long time like Floyd, Cotto, marg, and Mosley.

 

Back then Hatton was undefeated and was highly regarded. Hatton vs Cotto has been talked about plenty. How people forget the past so easily. atsch

Mosley was part of another Four: Mosley, Oscar, Winky, and Trinidad.

Cotto, Hatton, Mayweather, Margarito were at their primes in and around the welterweight divisions and consider the Four elites. Don't let current events shape your judgement on how it was back in the days.

 

The closest to a second set would be Pac, Cotto, Margarito, & Clottey because they all actually fought each other. Thats the top rank big 4

I think people are getting it all mixed up. Mosley belonged from the older era in his prime with Oscar, Tito, and Forrest. By the time Pacquiao upset Barrera, Barrera and Morales already had 2 fights between them and on their way down. When Pacman was a part of the Mini Four Horsemen, (Barrera, Morales, and JMM), Cotto, Margarito, Judah, and Mayweather were supposed to be the Big 4 at WW. Everybody except Floyd were fighting each other while Floyd retired by taking on semi retired past his prime Oscar which was Floyd's biggest check, can't blame him for taking the fight, but he lost respect retiring knowing there was business with Cotto, Margarito, and a rising Williams. The ones TODAY that should be the current BIG 4 should be Pacquiao, Mayweather, Martinez, and Williams. They have the most significant wins recently and if they really wanted to could meet at 147. At least Martinez and Williams don't let anything get in the way or come up with excuses to prevent from fighting each other. They should be getting the spot light instead of Floyd.
