Larry Holmes stopped Leon Spinks in three, but laid a much worse beating on Randy Cobb over 15. IMO, Pac gave Marg a much worse beating than Mosley did. Compare Marg's face and bone integrity after each fight.
Again, you make the mistake of assuming that a KO is always a bigger beatdown than a slow, painful whupping.
Margo needs surgery in the face after the Pac fight. He doesn't need any surgery after the Shane fight. So it is supposed to be obvious who gave Margo a bigger beatdown.
Look, the only way I can answer this is, what fight would I rather have to go through if I was the one in there, and its Mosley all day. Mosley is the type of fight where your like 'Damn.... wasnt my night tonight, you did your best, you make a few excuses and you try to come back as a force again. The Pac fight is the type of fight that makes you spend a night in the hospital, makes you paranoid about brain damage and makes you question if you should continue with your career while you are looking at your deformed and grotesque face in a mirror in your hospital bed while your family is looking on crying, and all the while knowing that this smaller fighter felt pity on you in the ring and actually eased up on you out of mercy. Id take the Mosley fight thanks.
I actually think this argument supports the idea that Pac gave Margarito the bigger beat down... Think about it, Pac had more rounds to land more punches. Truth be told, Pac could have finished Margarito off after the 10th, instead he went easy on him... Also, Margarito looked WAY worse after the Pac fight. Finally, broken orbital bone.
This isn't about who did more damage in 9 rounds; it is who did more damage in the whole of their fight.
PAc- margarito needs surgery for his eye socket he was stunned early out of his feet twice. EYES were a mess.
