My thoughts & questions after watching Manny Vs. Marg...

1) Paq is a monster.

2) If Floyd doesn't fight him before Manny fights again his legacy will forever be tarnished. And even if he beats Manny now, he still won't get credit because of Manny's activity/fights compared to Floyd's inactivity. Floyd has put himself in a lose lose situation. In my opinion he only wins public opinion if he (a) loses or beats Manny in a Corrales/Castillo Ward/Gatti type of war and then wins a rematch or (b) completely destroys the next guy to beat Manny, if Manny ever loses again.

2) I don't think this fight was fixed per se, but Marg was NOT trying to win at all.

3) I've concluded that this is what Marg looks like without loaded gloves. His fights since his exposure shows a slow, easily hittable, past prime fighter.

4) What the hell is the purpose of the tape ridges on Manny's hand wraps?

5) Cotto does NOT need to fight Manny again. There is no shame in losing to ATG like Manny. He DOES NEED to fight Marg again.

 

You classing pac's fight against clottey as activity? Pac has had tougher sparring sessions. As for floyd not getting credit he never does. If he beats pac it will be pac was overrated rather than mayweather is that good.

 

Well that was not known beforehand, most of us thought clottey would put ona performance like he did in the cotto fight but still lose, didnt expect him to just shield up and go for the money.

WHY the **** was Nelly there killing the momentum of the fight.
(It took me completely out of the mood, For a while)

 

I missed that part, tuned in just in time for the fight, what did he do?

 

He tried giving an entertaining one song concert and failed miserably.

 

I've never been happier than when Nelly got off the stage. Not the place and certainly not the time to be performing.

2. Pac doens't need Floyd on his resume to be a legend. But, Floyd needs Pac if he wants to be recognized as a true champion instead of a low risk/high pay fighter.

3. I think Margo was hurt early by the broken orbital bone, and just couldn't muster enough offense to slow Pac down.
