ATG: Who Ranks Higher? Manny Pacquiao or Sugar Ray Leonard?

I picked Pacman.

From fly weight to WW is a big carrer, SRL is one of the best WW in history but Pac is better p4p.

Lots of ATG's can beat Pac over a few weights, but who else could do what he has done?

Leonard went to and fro with Donny Lalonde and ended up getting the KO, which was a good win but he did not absolutly distroy his comp like Pacman has, he has to fight a MW now to get some good bout and he is a JWW, who else has had to fight guys much bigger to make it an even match?

Leonard resume > Pacquiao, tko prime hearns, duran x2 and close fight that could have went either way vs hagler puts leonard above pac based on resume.

I depends on how you would rank guys through your p4p list, Hagler is better and ranked higher at the one weight, does that mean that he should be ranked highter p4p?

I for one do not think so. But every one is different.

 

Pac's best wins are against retreads.

It's not even a close argument. I have about 50 reasons why he's nowhere near. I'll give you three.

1: Pacquiao's best ever opponent, legacy wise, probably wouldn't come in Leonard's top 10. You're probably talking Juan Marquez? Which he arguably lost.

2: Pacquiao's not even fought the dominant opponent of his era yet, let alone win it. He'd probably be an underdog with mayweather. Leonard fought every dominant opponent of his era and beat them all.

3: Oh yeah, he has wins over a peak Duran, Benitez, Hagler and Hearns. Probably 3 of the top 40 fighters in the history of the sport

Why is this even in discussion ?? Leoanard fought 15 rounders against hall of famers !! Manny is dominating journeymen as of late !! I hate all the nonsense that comes after a big fight ! And here is something else to consider most of Leoanrd's fans don't post on message boards so im sure the polls will tip in Manny's favor !
