You got it I think - that's the way I think of Ali as a natural flowing artist who would react as he saw fit when he was in there - text book went out the window with him because he was so freakishly fast and virtuoso that he rarely needed to consult the textbook PS this book was a great read - and it holds a special place in my heart as the copy I have is signed by Muhammad from when me and my dad met him back in 1992 when he was touring to promote it - i should have another flick through it again one of these days
i think tyson decimates him i think his left hook was more powerful than fraziers, hand speed faster than fraziers and punches in bunches i think when tyson connected it owuld have been curtains also if the right hand htat took holmes down the 1st time connected ali would go down.
:deal TRUE m8. Frazier proofed his left-hook way, way more powerful And BETTER, cos he KD PRIME ALI! Foreman Hooooooook!:hat
absolutely wrong! shot ali and prime holmes they both took the best right hand of shavers, holmes was down and ali not. and prime ali never faced joe frazier:deal
prime tyson could not ko james tillis, james smith, tony tucker or green( i will not mention douglas). how might him ko ali ?(who was x 5 better than these guys, faster hands and faster feet ,more skill , better reflexes, smarter,he had more stamina and x 10 better chin.nut
:deal AGREE M8!! if Tyson cannt KO them BUMS, then he cannt KO any top14 ATG. :deal [tyson = #15] -Tucker not a BUM - BUT he still only Grade C. Foreman Hooook!:hat
I thought you were a Tyson fan??? :nut Rooney has always said Ali would have given Tyson the most problems.
Tyson's style would expose many of Ali's flaws. For 1 thing Tyson matches him for speed, another is Ali was open to being tagged by left hooks, another is Tyson's great defense and countering. And finally Tyson's power and accuracy is going to be the most painful combination of the 2 Ali would have ever faced. Remember the Ali-DeAmto interview when Ali says to Cus 'Frazier isn't as skilled as you he can't do that', wellno Frazier wasn't as skilled, Tyson would be
