going up in weight has it's tradeoffs. these ww's may not be as skilled as mab, em, or jmm but pac had to hurdle the size and power barrier. you saw what margo's power can do to someone pac's size. if it were that easy, heck we would see most featherweights challenging ww's and giving them hell.

 

Manny needs to beat up a woman or commit the crime **** to be considered a true great at ESB. Dying his skin and wearing an afro wig would also help his cause. :good

 

The size and power barrier only matter if the people can actually hit you with a punch. That is the issue here. Name me the last fighter Pacquiao fought, that had any kind of speed?

The only guy you could even think about mentioning would be Ricky Hatton. And everybody knows how much he loves to use his face to block punches. Not to mention Ricky tends to smother his own punches, and is more known for his foot speed than hand speed and timing.

Like I said: Great fighter, but they have been protecting him and it's pretty obvious. When he actually fights somebody from outside the Bob Arum stable that is a threat, let me know.

Anybody who paid for the last two fights are real suckers. Like I said earlier: The last two fights were as good as fixing the fight without asking the other guy to lose on purpose. Manny needs to stop fighting B plus fighters, take the dame drug test and fight the best of this era Floyd Mayweather jr. It's hard for me to give this dude his just due, when he's ducked Mosley and won't fight Mayweather.

i say he's taken on a decent set of opponents at the higher weights, far from cherrypicked. except for diaz though. the only one i can think of who can really trouble pac is floyd, and that's the fight i also want to see. if pac had taken on shane before floyd, i'm sure people would give little credit for that. you can't really blame pac's team for taking the dela hoya fight. that's a chance you do not pass up on.

 

Amen to that. Manny could ressurect Jesus Christ and stop him on cuts in the 7th round and assclowns like that guy will say that Jesus was rusty. Kudos to you for giving Manny his props. I've got MUCH respect for Mexican warriors. You gotta appreciate these guys for what they are and not let your emotions make you look/sound ******ed. I like Pacman as a person, he really seems like a cool, good guy but his fans make you want to not like him so much. His last few fights were tailor made for him against other Top Rank fighters. Pacman. gets busted up in some of his fights and against a slick boxers with skills who can match him with speed, timing and a jab he will have severe difficulties (ex Williams, Sergio, Alexander , Bradley, Berto). I already know Floyd will make him look like an amateur.

seems like everytime he demolishes a fighter, he takes a few steps back instead of forward....

 

beating Margarito was the unthinkable? He was knocked out 2 fights ago by Shane. Cotto? knocked out by Margarito, Hatton? Stopped by Mayweather. Manny has to beat Floyd or another great to get his ATG ranking up significantly.

 

Also have Manny fight a fighter with a good right hand so Manny can jump in and out the way he does. They avoid right handed punchers.
