Teddy was involved in a street fight when he was younger and was slashed in the face apparently needing 400 stitches. Seal's scars are not the result of violence. Jet reported that Seal's facial scars are the result of the disease lupus. At age 23, Seal developed discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE), a rare form of the disease causing scars.
If I had to guess Id say Teddys scars are less the result of a street fight and more the result of him cutting himself to get a scar that would make him look tough...
