Jimmy Bivins and Ezzard Charles at 25 losses. Walcott and Moore are close behind.

Many of the Black Murder fighters and WW II era guys picked more losses than they sould have had, as they were forced to fight each other for years with no advancement or had bad early careers with health or nutrition problems. In the case of Charles, something like 12 of his losses came in the years after Marciano as he was forced to keep fighting as a gatekeeper to make ends meet.

I really don't know, and I suppose it depends on who you consider to be an all time great. I think Archie Moore had quite a few defeats, but I haven't done a search recently, nor have really looked at anyone else.

I'd probably say Kid Gavilan... I don't consider Zivic to be an ATG really.

i'd always thought it was fritzie zivic who'd lost the most, then i read somewhere that johnny dundee had lost the most out of all the world champs.
i'd consider both to be all time greats.
