what is there to dislike about Manny Pacquiao!?!?

ok let me make something clear, im NOT a ******* and im NOT A *****. I am a fan of the sport of Boxing, and I always will be.

Pacquiao is a wonder. He truly is. We as boxing fans should all be greatfull and feel privileged to see a fighter like this that only comes along once in a blue moon.

The man is a FIGHTER, he has heart, speed, power, timing, agility, amazing footwork, precision, a high ring IQ, amazing generalship, and a solid defense, killer instinct, and the willingness to put it all on the line not only for personal pride and glory, but to give US the viewer high quality entertainment.

Before you go and bash me for saying his defense is terrible, and start saying that he gets hit a lot, what the heck do you think is going to happen when you throw over 1000 punches in a fight? Yes you are going to get hit. That high intensity/high output is just his style and he is willing to eat a few shots to deliver it to us as viewers and himself. There is no doubt in my mind that he could throw less, take less hits and still win fights comfortably.

Before you haters decide to bash me about him being a non technical brawler with low ring IQ or whatever else you want to mouth off about, just look at the facts please, and while you are at it, look at yourself. No matter how much you want to detract from him or how you want to spin it, what Pacquiao is doing is legendary stuff, and you simply CANNOT do these things if you didnt have the kind of talent that only comes along few times in a generation (if that). And who are you, to discredit the abilities of a man that has more talent in his left hand then you could ever hope to have with anything else in your entire life.

He dosent need to trash talk, he dosent need to act like a ***** to sell tickets, he isnt cocky, and he is always the first to show his opponents the utmost class and respect. He is both a killer in the ring and merciful (as seen by him deciding to ease up on Margo upon realizing the beating he was putting on him is the kind of beating that will have prolonged effects on a man).

He is a genuine class act outside the ring and a pure warrior beaming with talent in the ring with the sort of style that draws the public to him. He is everything you could want in a fighter as far as im concerned.

Dont think for one second that i believe Pac is a top 10 all time great or could beat anyone p4p because that simply isnt true. Hes Great, but there have been better. But as a fan of the sport of boxing, i will look back someday and say that I was proud and privileged to have seen Manny Pacquiao work in the ring.

How some of you can show such dislike and hate for the guy, I honestly cannot comprehend.

 

I don't like that David Haye won't fight him.

 

Name me one celebrity/sportsperson whom every single person likes.

For every one new person that hates him, another ten will become new fans.

 

Cant think of many better boxers to be honest in boxing history?

 

People hate pacfans who claim he is the goat and when they say he will easily beat mayweather that pisses the *****'s of because they see their boy as the goat. So they hate pac and try to diminish his performances. I dont see how anybody really can hate manny, true gentleman warrior and atg for our sport.

 

He eats dogs.

 

He's good + successful.

That's enough to make every wretched worthless loser in the world come crawling out the woodwork to hate on him. Look at any sport or activity in the world, the best always get hated on.

I think its his fans that make him hard to like. There is a few things i dont like with the stipulations to his fights but you would have to be blind to not see he is special.

 

Not many ppl dislike Jordan. I suppose you could dislike his gambling, etc... but what can you be negative about his on court game? The guy helped build the Nike machine, laid the groundwork for future promotions process for all sports. Never mind what he's done in Bball.

Ya, i'll agree with you on this. I think there are a lot of athletes/celebs/anyone in the public eye, that get a lot of **** for no reason at all.

All of us on this site can agree we are boxing fans though for sure. Isnt Manny Pacquaio, what we as boxing fans, the kind of fighter that we all want to see though?

I would love the haters of him to explain their reasons for why they do not like him in a calm and collected manner without letting emotions run to high (i kno this is a near impossibility on this site), because as hard as I try, i simply cannot find a single thing to dislike about the man whether it be his fighting spirit or his character as a human being.

I agree. He's one of the all time greats and I feel privileged to be alive and see him fighting live, in his prime.
