And the number one argument is that NO BOXER would back out of the best payday of his life over drug testing!

The only boxers who did? Would probably be cheaters who wished to not be caught.

Thats a great post indeed. Again, like I said in my original post, Im not claiming that Pac is the best ever or saying his accomplishments are greater the all else. All im saying is he is great nonetheless, and he should be recognized for it.

Pac is a a great fighter. However, this "eight division world champion" nonsense does more to tarnish his legacy than to enhance it. It makes him look like a manipulator and a con man.

The quick destruction of Ricky Hatton was astounding. I'd be far more impressed with Pac if he had stayed at 140 and cleaned out a very hot division filled with young guns who are just now coming into their own.

Haters are always more vocal than fans. I tried to not like him before I understood how ridiculous and childish it was. Maybe he's not the best boxer ever but he is the best thing to happen for boxing. That includes Ali.

I'm ashamed for posters here who dedicate their life to slam him with unbelievable **** theories that come from men who belong to prison or mental hospital instead of boxing news.

His last rounds against Margarito was something that I've never seen or thought that could happen in real life. Class act in every sense of the word on every aspect of life.

nothing to dislike about him, He fights who is in front of him and he looks like he has no fear at all. But some of his fans overrate him a little. Saying he is ATG top 10 after Margarito is rushing it a little. He needs a win over Floyd and then maybe that can be said. That is why I always said Duran was overrated. Duran never really beat a prime great. Leonard he beat when Ray fought his fight when Ray was green, Ray regroups fights his fight and Duran is outclassed, like he was with Benitez a little over a year later.

The number one thing to hate about Manny is his fans, simple as that.

You say all that, even copy and paste it from another thread, to simply demonstrate you don't know **** about boxing. Can you copy and paste the boxing "rule book" that PBF tried to rewrite, better yet can you post me the rules as they stand know and how what PBF asked for was different than said rules? The bottom line is that commissions in states like Nevada or Texas have minimum standards in place to licsense athletic competition in their state. They DO NOT set the rules of boxing, the rules are set by the two individuals who will step into the ring. Glove size/brand, ring size, contract weight, etc are all negotiated by the fighters, why would drug testing be any different. Lastly the "cut off" dates aren't determined by PBF, he's not dictating anything, the "cut offs" and frequency of testing is determined by the USADA, they don't answer to PBF, the don't answer to Pac, they don't answer to any athlete, they do what they deem appropriate to ensure clean athletes are competing, period. At a minimum if you are going to grandstand and make this kind of post, at least make sure you are right.

If you aren't a fan of Pacquiao, you just don't like boxing. He's everything good about the sport inside and outside the ring.

They say love is blind. You can probably say the same for hatred when you read the posts here.

The only thing I dislike about Manny is his inability to call out a certain fighter in his post-fight interviews. Sure, I can see why he's sick and tired of a certain fighters name and all, and specially after a hard grueling fight, but still... everyone wants him to say them six words: "Floyd, step up and fight me!"

Not calling out specific guys is a Top Rank thing. Arum does not want his fighters to call out specific names. The only recent exception I know of was when Arum and Pavlik were both in the ring after the Espino fight, and told PDub to put up or shut up, but that is by no means the norm.

I don't hate Pac he's exciting and great for the sport I just don't like the fact that he won't agree to up to the fight testing and the way he claims he's a 8 weight champ because those fights were catchweights. Also I hate Patards because of their general lack of knowledge of the sport outside of Pac.
