Post Nov 13: Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao 147 Who Wins?

It's not just the Margo fight. It's the Cotto, Clottey and Margo fights combined for me that really changed my mind.

2 years ago, I was 90/10 for PBF, last year I was 75/25 for PBF, today... 50/50

 

Why do people think Pacman beating Margarito means he can beat Floyd. Shane knocked out Margarito and Shane was outclassed by Floyd.

 

That means what exactly? It doesn't work like Pokemon you know.


Khan beat Kotelnik, but Kotelnik beat Maidana. Does that make Khan automatically better than Maidana? In that case what's the point fighting him at all?

 

from what I saw, mayweather has a better chance of winning.

 

question is.. mosley knocked out margarito, and pacman couldnt..does that mean mosley is stronger than pacman? if he is..mosley couldnt KO mayweather.

 

Right, because Pacman purposely chose to stand and exchange with Marg instead of pot shotting his way to a very boring UD ala Floyd style, he's now vulnerable huh?

 

Floyd Mayweather even if he did win would never do it like this it's not his temperament as a fighter

 

When I really sit down and try to visualize the fight, I can imagine 2 different scenarios.

Scenario 1:
Pacquiao does well to negate Floyd's counter rights with his in-out-in-out and combination punching from angles, but not 100%. Pacquiao pushes Mayweather to the brink and wins a close decision.

Scenario 2:
Floyd negates Pacquiao's volume punching with lateral movement and sharp counter punching. Floyd is pushed to the brink but wins a close decision.

To me, a decision is inevitable in this matchup, but the KO is possible from either side. My official prediction hasn't changed since after the Hatton and ODLH fights (Both Pacquiao and Mayweather). Pacquiao by razor thin decision, with Floyd looking a bit beat up around the FACE area.

 

Ain't **** changed. I'm tired of seeing pac fight these slow easy to hit guys. Time for him to take on someone with defense, footwork and speed.:good

 

Everyones got a plan til they get hit. Keep winning all the fantasy fights thats **** dont increase legacies.

 

Glad to see this poll is actually not biased in it's options.

 

PBF also outclassed the great Marquez who in my opinion for what it is worth beat Pacman both times they fought. PBF also destroyed the unbeaten Hatton and knocked him out before Pacman destroyed him. Pacman is great but PBF is greater.
