Mannys name belongs up there with Armstrong and the rest

Pac Man has proved to me his name deserves to be mentioned in the company of the ATG's.Armstrong, Duran,Robinson etc.
I scored it 119 to 110.
Margarito shamed himself last time out ,but his courage partially redeemed him against Manny , though it cannot excuse or erase the unforgivable actions he was complicit in, he did show tremendous heart plodding forward into blitzing, pin point flurries of slashing punches.
What a tragedy it will be, if we do not see Manny square off against PBF?

 

He's been an all time great for a while now, but I'm very hesitant to put him in the top 15-20 as of now. I'm going to wait and see how his career pans out.

I'm sure as hell not betting against him, though. :good

 

I think he needs a conclusive victory over PBF and no real setbacks to be named in that company.

 

At this point I really don't care what PBF does. I'd rather see Pac ball out and take on the winner of MWII. No catchweights, just glory and the MW title.

If he won he'd be a top 10 shoe in imo.

 

To me he was as great before he fought Margarito as he is now, that fight doesn't mean that much. Margarito was a nobody at 154 (or 150 even). Cracks me up how it was a 'championship fight' as well:rofl

He is very much a great fighter, but he's as great as he was before the Margarito fight. Basically, in my eyes, him and Floyd can both **** off if they don't fight one another now.

 

I still think the fight with Mayweather needs to happen.

Even though a win over either Williams or Martinez at MW would be huge, and you could even argue it would be a better scalp, there's always going to be that question about Mayweather.

The win over Margarito was a great one but he hasn't really moved in my rankings since he beat Cotto, which is still a much better win in my book.

 

I think that Martinez and Williams would seriously damage Pacman. I give him no chance against Williams at 154.

 

I don´t think his win over Margarito has a big impact on his resume. Margo was damaged goods, the only thing he had going for him was size. Pac´s an atg and accomplishmentwise he is up there with the greatest but let´s not get carried away he lacks where it counts the most, in the resume department. Not his fault but it is what it is.

 

You heard about the "Land of Legends" scandal & all the Barrera/Naz/Corrales/Duran & Paz fake pic's & gloves:twisted: He's proberbly waiting for the FBI to knock on the door, Vinny Paz has posted photo's of the gloves with his auto that "Land of Legends" were selling as legit & he's written all over them THIS IS NOT MY SIGNITURE!!! + Chico Corrales's widow went nuts when she found out that they were selling chico sigs as he got caught out by the fact that the everlast gloves the chico sig was on was produced after chico ****in died!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Pac has fought all the best from 122 to 154 and destroyed 90% of them. He is among the greats. If he beats Floyd he is the greatest ever:

great thread, deserved respect, i have manny top 20 for what it's worth, knocking on top 15. it must have been like watching duran in the 70s or leonard in the 80s (sorry duranimal). i would like to say it's like watching roy jones but it's not...it's so much better
