His response to the straight forward question was a rambling whirl of semi-coherent babble. But somewhere in the fog of his answer was mentioned that Werdums victory held little weight as Fedor hasnt really done anything in a long time. The Mastermind, as he often so humbly refers to himself, then went on to mock Fedors resumé of recent wins by blasting Tim Sylvia as a scrub and mere leftovers of Randy Couture. The odd thing is how in his very next breath he would praise Brock Lesnar for defeating Randy Couture, and actually used Tim Sylvia as proof of Randys greatness, and by association, justification for Lesnars rank. So, who did Randy get his belt from? Tim Sylvia. How did he defeat him? A 25 minute positionally based decision. Now, what did Fedor do to Tim Sylvia? He utterly demolished him in 36 seconds, treating him exactly as the worlds greatest fighter should have treated him. If Brock beating Couture who decisioned Sylvia is impressive, then how is Werdum beating Fedor who demolished Sylvia a joke? Here we have Jordan Breen shilling his Zuffa-bought rankings by praising a victory over Tim Sylvia on the one hand, yet with his other is deriding a non-Zuffa fighter for his much more devastating defeat of that same Tim Sylvia. If a mans motivations were of web hits, would he not push the much more popular commodity, and discount the lesser known names? i recently stopped visiting shitdog, its cool if they dont like Fedor or anything non Zuffa but they literally go outta there way to insult anything not Zuffa. plus there forums are some of the worst **** you will ever read, not to mention you get banned for something as trivial as saying so and so fighter has a "glass chin". (yea i got banned lol, but i only said Reem has a glass chin cause somebody was complaining that his chin rating should be higher in EA MMA cause he has a "proven chin")
Rankings are not static, Fedor lost and hasn't fought in months, he is going slip in the ranking until he fights again. Are you worried the world will end this very day and the aliens that study our history will see the see Brock ranked over Fedor?
He didn't "mock Fedor" he said Fedor hasn't really done much in a few years, which is a bit harsh as Arlovski was before Arlovski went to ****, and Sylvia was starting his horrible fall as a fight but not quite at the bottom of it. Really though, Fedor had a good long streak of not fighting anybody worth much rankings wise.
if you rank lesnar #2 then you either: know **** about mma or more likely are grossly bias towards a zuffa agenda(even then im surprised jds would not be the next logical choice for #2 since they are building up his match with cain) Their are no reasonable excuses.
I didnt hear the radio program but according to the article it doesnt sound is if Jordan Breen mocked fedor directly just his wins. I doubt if he had insulted fedor it would have not been mentioned by this writer. He simply made a fool of himself by defending such corrupt HW rankings.
Breen is a jerkoff to be sure, put the persecution/conspiracy complex certain people have on this forum is laughable.

To the extent that the treadstarter is making it out to be? Yes, I call that a crackpot conspiracy theory. Are they biased towards Zuffa? Sometimes, sometimes not; they have been in massive pissing battles with Zuffa many times: revealing TUF winners early, getting denied press credentials, etc etc. Sometimes bad is just bad, thread starter is making them out to be far more competent than they actually are; this is what Sherdog is, usually bad.
No doubt sherdog used to be less bias towards the ufc, as many have claimed this was why they were denied credentals to the ufc events. That has changed...
AA was ranked as high as #2 if I remember correctly and Sylvia was top 5 aswell and had just looked pretty good vs Nog, his decline clearly came after spending a year sitting on his $750k getting fat. The reality is that in terms of really massive fights between highly established names we havent seen anything to equal Fedor/Nog or Fedor/Crocop in along time. HW has been a mixed up division for awhile now with lots of guys climbing high in the rankings based on a tiny amount of results agenst questionable opposition. Thats just as true for Lesnar or Carwin as it is for Rogers or AA if you ask me. Zuffa and Sherdog just take advantage of the fact that theres no hype like new hype thats yet to be disprooven. To build up Lesnar/Carwin as equal to something like Fedor/Nog just because the two guys happened to have high rankings at the time was clearly dishoniest and ultimately we saw that in the poor displays both gave in the cage. Certain people here clearly have a strong bias agenst Zuffa but I don't think its unrealistic to claim that they've been highly sucessful in manipulating the media in a way boxing promoters can only dream of. The situation is afterall ideal for it to happen, a mainstream media inexpereinced in dealing with MMA and a load of amaturish highly specialized(so highly dependant on UFC coverage/advertising) internet media. Its not as blatant as say a shill like Ioli(and if it was Sherdog would obviously be hurt by it) but when you say "sometimes, sometimes not" its really more a case of "sometimes impartial on relatively neutral issues/rankings, generally highly pro Zuffa on important issues/rankings". When was the last time Sherdog came up with some rankings or a bit of editorial comment that sided agenst Zuffa on an important issue? Theres an excuse each time of course but the fact that again and again they come down on the pro Zuffa side of the debate is a bit of a giveaway.
