Has it gone up or down since the fight. The gang **** comment, the betting and the joke of the fight, Haye's popularity has tumbled in my opinion. Allot of casual fans believing the fight was a fix.
He got booed in the arena. Same with the Valuev fight. He can't sell **** now. SBO need another star.
Plummeted with me. Had no issue with Haye beating up a tough warrior like John Ruiz. Had big problems with Haye beating up a mentally fragile and scared guy like Harrison.
With the boxing fans it's obviously gone down. With Dave Dickhead in the pub who watches one fight a year and reckons he knows it all, who knows. This bull**** betting stuff will probably stick longer in the eyes of the GB public than the fact that it was a shameful excuse for a boxing contest.
Went from a huge Haye fan to the last 3 months not having much time for him. Saturday ended my time as a Haye fan...not just the fight but the stuff he says and the inflated ego and ''i can do what i like'' attitude. Just ain't digging that ****...especially after all the talk...i only respect men of there word!
Haye is up his own arse. I cant support the guy. He is a big time Charlie and Booth is an arrogant sod as well. He has done nothing as a heavyweight - he is a paper champion and both Klits would spark him.
Well he'll have a tougher time selling a fight, it'll have to be a legit opponent to get people interested. I'd say a lot wouldn't tune in if they suspect they might be getting sold another lemon. But if he fights one of the Klitschkos, this whole thing might have even raised his pulling power. Sort of a "there's no such thing as bad publicity" sort of thing. Like, ok Harrision is ****, but this is a Klitschko, this is IT!!!
I was there. He got booed heavy at announcing of winner and when he left the ring. You must have heard it on tv. A lot like Khan V that Jew.
I was sitting pretty close to the ring, and heard nothing but adulation from everyone. Must have been different in the cheap seats.
