It's a warrior thing, Obviously if you don't understand it.

No you dumb **** it is not pride.

There is a big difference between things not going your way and getting a beating. Do you not understand what a beating is? That is a far cry from things not going your way. Subjecting to repeated beatings or physical abuse with nothing to gain other then getting the beating is not pride. It is being a dumbass.

Pride is not caring what people say or think about you. Pride is being proud of who you are.

This isn't about the warrior mentality. I love boxers that goes in there with the knock me ****ing out or else I'm going to continue coming at you. The difference is if there is a chance of winning. If you have zero chance and are just standing there being a punch bag then you are no longer a warrior. A warrior knows when he can't win. If he continues to fight on knowing there is no chance then he is now a suicide person and not a warrior.

Los Mexicanos nos murimos en la raya. You either get it or you don't. You obviously give no importance to self-worth, respect, and pride. A true warrior never quits, regardless of the situation.

Im sick of this warrior bull****.

Margarito didn't do anything warrior in that ring. He stayed and fought like a fool and so did his corner.

Warriors fight take it and give it. All Margarito did was take it. That's not being a warrior.

Not all, I remember EM saying he wont continue anymore. Which i thought was the right thing to do. Didnt make me think of him less. There's a difference between being a warrior and being stupid. Pac-Margo not being stopped is the ref's fault. He didnt need the corner to ask him to stop it. Cole sucks!

That **** talk don't work in the real world. A true dumbass never knows when to quit regardless of the situation. How the **** can you talk about self worth when you can't even grasp a no win situation. Respect, when you don't even respect the situation that if you continue you will get an ass kicking. Pride, so your proving you have pride by leating the other kick your ass. OK.

I've seen dumb ass take on fights where they knew they were going to be in a coma from it. Saw this dumb ass take on a guy with 5 of his buddy standing around. You know they were going to jump in and that a severe beating was coming with it. ****er was taken away with a fractured skull. Yea, he's a true warrior in his ****ing mind. Everyone at the scene said what a dumbass.

Mexicans are the most prideful people on the planet, IMO. Whenever someone quits in the ring or on the stool, they have to swallow whatever is left of their pride: for Mexicans, at this point, it's still too big to dismiss.

Too answer our question: yes, it is embedded in the culture. To you it's smart to bow out, to a lot of Mexicans its a ***** move that isn't even an option.

So do Mexican think less of the likes of Eric Morales and Julio Ceasar Chaves? Both sat on the stool instead of continue. Yet both guys are still highly regarded for their warrior mentality.

Like I've stated. In a situation where there is a chance to pull something out but you risk getting the beating of your life in the process is one thing. I'm al for that. But taking a beating with no shot in hell is another thing. Like my two example. No one thought anything less of the two legends because it was a no win situation. Even die hard Mexican knows that.

In their defense they were passed primed when this occured and had already gone through enough wars to prove they are warriors. example, Chavez proved his warrior status against Taylor. Moralez with the wars against Barrera.
