Adamek vs Jones Jr

i think it would be very unwise for adamek to actually do this. an adamek victory isnt a foregone conclusion by any means. if he wins, so what and god help him if he loses. he can kiss that klit shot goodbye.

 

What happened to Jones Jr v Sprott?

So if it's Adamek v Jones, this means Vitali is free...which also hopefully means that the rumours of Haye v Vitali being next could be true...??

nope. if he can find roy he can end it. but i just don't think its worth blowing what he's worked so hard for at hw on the risk he won't find him. i really like adamek and just think the risk reward isnt there.

You can't be serious. Roy doesn't have the engine to keep Adamek off him for 12 rounds, hasn't for years. He doesn't have the speed any more to outpoint him. Adamek at HW would have nothing to fear from Roy's power. This would be a cake walk for him. I wish Roy would retire.

 

i grew up in florida watching jones box and play basketball. him beating toney was one of the fights that got me into boxing when i was a kid. i wish he would retire too. and i think i'm giving the wrong impression here,

adamek would knock jones out.

but yes i am serious that there is that infinitesimal chance that roy pulls a rabbit out of a hat and stinks the joint out for an ugly points win. crazier things have happened. that risk, however small, isnt worth what adamek has worked so hard to cultivate at hw.

you tell me what the reward is if he beats a shot to **** jones? now tell me what he's risking?

ill edit to give what i think the answer is...a moderate payday and no real glory at all if not mild criticism for fighting and beating jones v. losing a huge money shot at a klit and pretty much derailing his hw campaign.

 

I don't think there's any reward for beating Jones, it would be widely discredited, I just can't see Jones pulling a rabbit out of a hat, not against Adamek

This is an awful fight Jones is shot and has no chance here. If this fight happens Adamek is really starting to go in the wrong direction. Beating Estrada and Arreola made Adamek a contender but beating Grant, Jones, and Maddalone is a big step backwards. I understand the whole point about him not wanting to risk his Klitschko fight that will come about some point in the year but that doesn't change the fact, if he fights Jones, his last three opponents have been guys lucky to be rated in the top 35-40 and had little chance against Adamek. Jones needs to retire before he gets hurt and Adamek needs to find someone better than Jones.
