Fighting in the amatuers is not a fighters prime. Tommy and Tito Trinidad were not ko punchers until after they became pros.

People are making predictions as if manny got knocked out since he was a flyweight..Manny's will to win and heart is incomparable. Nobody knows if he can be knocked out at this stage.

your a truly awful poster :-(

look at mannys chin, then look at hearns chin :deal

i grew up watching hearns and i have big respect for him but the truth is, if tommy can't take you out early then you have a good chance against him because of his bambi legs.

manny beats tommy hearns, probably stops him late on.

it annoys me on esb how people constantly want to over-rate fighters from the past as though they were invincable and under-rate boxers of the present.

i've watched and admired both these guys and manny is the better man and would beat tommy hearns.

Hearns was not Margaritos, Cotto or Clottey, you r talking about a HOF WW, over 6 feet tall, great boxing, fast and a lethal puncher, specially with the right hand straight down the pipe, stop the freaking train already, Pacquio is a good fighter, but who he has beat that resembles a HOF over the 135lbs, in his prime? I'll answer for you, nobody, DLH was past his prime, Cotto is a borderline HOF and Margarito is a good boxer that will never make it to the Hall, on top of that, it was always a catchweight, the guy is good, but not that good.

I won't take that away from Pac. His chin and will are from another world. But so were the will and chin of Duran and you remember what happened. Everyone can be KOed eventually.

You *******s are claiming him as one of the greatest if not the greatest ever, then why not compare him with Hearns at 147? You get so bent out of shape for nothing claiming everyone in this thread is a *****.:-(

Hearns KTFO Pacquiao, too hard of a puncher at Welterweight. Pacquiao gets hit a little too much and as we all know his wolfsbane is a right hand. Hearns has one of the best in the division's history. He'd get Duran'd and it wouldn't even be his fault. The size difference is too ****ing huge as well.

Makes more sense to compare him with GOAT FW's or LWs imo. Putting him up against the greatest of the Welters is kinda like putting Jones or Fitzsimmons against the best heavies.

    Mosely destroys Margarito

    Mayweather destroys Mosely

    Pacquiao destroys Margarito

Man, I love your guys confidence, bearing in mind Pacquiao's just feeding on Floyd's scraps

Man, we live in a world where Juan Marquez beats pacquiao at 130

Why do we need to go into Hearns?
