No becuase he was rocked and dropped in the Corley fight, the Torress fight, Dropped and stopped by Margarito, and badly hurt with Judah, Cottos chin has always had question marks on it....

the big 17 lbs. size difference had something to do with it.

cotto was 9 lbs. while clottery was 11 lbs. bigger when pac fought them.

 

If you read through the thread I said at 147 or higher. He has never been knocked down at 147 or higher.

 

Honestly I think Margaritos fight has proven that he can compete with out the need of special hand wraps, I honestly beleive his story and will continue to support him weather he fights on or not.
There is no proof that he knew about the inserts in his wraps IMO he paid a big price along the way with out such proof that he was involved or did know.
The way I see it, his story is that he had no idea that his trainer placed those items in the knuckle pad and we can either choose to ignore that and point fingers or choose to give him the benifit of the doubt.
Most point fingers and cast stones... Perfect, but the way I see it, you have QB Michael Vick who tortured dogs that failed to perform up to standards when they were illegally fighting, Vick who had a compound dedicated to fighting dogs, grave yards in which dogs were executed etc....
and Yet Vick is still playing monday night football on American Broadcast TV and has nice paycheck to go along with it, if Vick can continue to carry on with his life and has a right to earn a pay check, even after he was convicted and found guilty.... Why cant Margarito who was not convicted in a court of law:think

What I noticed is that Margarito before he got caught with inserts used to smiled when he got hit and then run you over. since the Mosley fight that smile/confidence is gone... Why?? Record post-loaded gloves: 1 win 2 loses!!!

If it was plaster of paris on Margarito's pads, why after days of inspection did they only find "traces of elements found in plaster of paris" as well as many other items?

If Capetillo "loaded up" Margarito's pads, to the extent everyone around here says, they would have found more than "traces of substances". They would have found plaster of paris.

 

Margarito may very well have the best power punches in the game today.. it was clear he hurt Pacquiao with those body shots and upper cuts and there is absolutely nothing you can take away from him after that brave fight he put up with Pac...

I think he beat Cotto with pressure, stamina and power in both hands and there's nothing that suggest to me after seeing last saturday's fight that he loaded both his hands during the Cotto fight.

 

I knew Margarito was going to get destroyed as soon as they announced the fight.

So no, I don't think it is a coincidence. I think it's a case of a limited and slow boxer going against a fast boxer with superior technique and physical ability.

Margarito is one of the biggest hype jobs Bob Arum had going. That "most feared man in boxing" bit was hilarious. Hilarious because people actually believed that nonsense.
