    But he's spot on!

Anyway Chisora might be a little overmatched against Wlad as well but he's a far better opponent than Audley Harrison.

The reason i think Dan won't criticize Wlad for fighting 14 wins Chisora cause number 1 Chisora is a far better fighter then bum old fart Harrison. And number 2 cause Povetkin, Adamek, Haye won't fight Wlad.

    Spot on.

We all think we have an objective opinion, but we are usually subconsciously biased and don't realise it.

I dont like some of rafaels opinions like how he makes fun of paper champions and says there are two many belts but refers to Gamboa as a champion when he only holds the regular title

or how he calls every close fight a high way robbery

but in this case i agree with him

    bias,,,,of course

    correct,,,i think so

i just don't think a professional writer should act the way he does.

you know in the cold light of day, wins over barret, valuev, ruiz and harrison. hardly a pathetic resume. not many hw resumes over the last 4 fights can top it.

i agree haye ducked wlad, but this campaign rafael has will make him look foolish when the fights happen.

Yes, he's spot on. I mean, I actually thought Barrett beat Haye.

Compare that to Haye's own standards. If you apply Haye's very own standards to himself and his own HW opposition then it's pure ****.

If Haye hadn't talked so much **** I'd have the utmost respect for him. Remember Brewster when he knocked out Wlad and then beat a couple of decent B level contenders? I ranked him very highly. He didn't talk **** and simply did his thing.

Haye talks a lot of crap, sets very high standards to everyone else just not to himself. Why should a boxing journalist not see through his sham game?

why view through standards. i just said in the cold light of day. the truth is it stands up to anyones last 4 wins.

and a boxing journalist should be more impartial IMO

Rafael is a terrible journalist who is famed for eating lots at the Press Conference buffets.

Also there is history behind him hating Haye, Adam Booth wouldn't give Rafael an interview or something like that. It started then.

Well IMO Rafael is doing exactly what he's supposed to. That is weighting and interpreting what is happening.

Just like a political journalist would hold Obama/Sarkozy etc. accountable to their own promises and standards a boxing journalist would take a boxer, see what he promised and said he'd do and then do a reality check.

There's news reporting (bringing the facts unbiased, without interpretation and opinion) and journalism that interprets and offers opinion.
