    UFC!? Negro, please.

You're quite right, I don't have the balls (or the ability) to lace 'em up.

But nor does Dirrell -- it ain't me needs to look in the mirror

The question still lingers if he really is hurting, having headaches and all but if he droped out of the turnament just to get away from fighting Ward and later on down the road decides to fight someother boxer ppv then will all now his a ***** made hoe...

Anyone who thinks Dirrell 'acted' when he got tagged while he was on his knees are ignorant of the sport and life in general.

That was real concussive blow, no B.S. The only reason why a fighter can take those kind of shots when he is standing is that they are trained to

    A) Have their guard up so that they can at least deflect part of the impact.

    B) Roll or Turn with the punch to lessen the jarring effect

    C) See the shot coming so they can do either of the two things I mentioned or at least ready themselves mentally for it.

The shot you don't see is deadly.

As a former fighter who's been tagged a few times I can tell you this is for real.
Ask anyone who's been in the ring and has been through a few wars they'll tell you the truth.

Dirrell was genuinely delirious when he got up. I am happy he is thinking hard about his health and safety, we don't need anymore Gerald McClellan's out there...

UNTIL YOU'VE LACED UP SOME GLOVES AND TASTED LEATHER STFU!!!!

Give the man some credit FFS.

    Peace.

Its a shame after the abraham fight he made a fan out of me, say what you want about the ending but the kid boxed beautifully, I'm disappointed about the ward fight not comming off but if its for his health then who are we to judge?

What you expect from a bunch of ***git, fat ass people that have never boxed a day in their life??? Its people like them that gives some fans a bad name, always got something to say but will never even be a ****ing man themselves and fight.

I would to see half of these dudes that are in here calling names fight professionally and lets see how much of a man they are since they have so much to talk about when it comes to talking about another PRO fighter.

Gotta love the force of the web!:-(

Dude, I looked and the majority of your posts aren't even on the topic of Boxing, most are about movies and just bashing other members. Worst of all your not even funny!

You will henceforth be on the 'ignore' as I recommend others to do as well unless they want to hear your latest movie review.

Unless of course you have some real insight/opinion about boxing - which I would be happy to hear!

If he proves that his injury is legit and manages to come back and beat Ward and Bute then people will respect him and all his negative image will disappear.

    That's what I think.

Most of the time I can agree to your posts, but my opinion on Dirrel's "injury" is different. In my opinion it's obvious that he just wanted to avoid the Ward fight and found a very good reason in Abraham's foul. He had a contract with Showtime, but refused to fight (faked an injury) and now he plans his comeback early next year. He has excellent boxing skills, but I won't watch him ever again. He simply has not deserved a second chance. I hope he won't get a new contract neither from Showtime nor from HBO.
