Hi Stevie. Yeah i did sit on the fence when i said it will be a close decision to either guy.

Ok my prediction will be Green by close decision. I don't really see either fighter stopping the other and there are a few ??? over Flores.

    What do you think ?

    Just to reiterate:

Cruiserweight division spans 175.1lbs to 200lbs.

195lbs is within this weight range.

Ergo, both fighters weighing in at 195lbs means this fight is at Cruiserweight, not catchweight.

    Bingo! :thumbsup
Hence why BJ 'couldn't confirm' that it's at CW when asked about it a week or so ago. He knew all along he would be a few kg below the upper CW limit.

This fight is an unofficial catchweight, set up like this so as to still claim to be a legit CW fight.

To be honest, I'm dumbfounded by anyone who seriously believes Flores came up with the idea of coming in under.

It's just Green putting a different spin on his wheeling and dealin, and dealing.

Thats pretty much whats happen. Some things cant always be posted on forums to provide as proof/evidence but its not hard for someone with half the logic to work out whats going on here. Only a Green nut hugger would put a positive spin on this circus act. cough BruaFag :good

Danny Green (184¼) vs Paul Briggs (192¼)

Briggs was within the IBO Cruiserweight limit but Danny didnt like this as he wanted it to be at DannyWeight. :good

Whats good for the goose is good for the gander but not when it comes to Danny side show circus catchweight machine, that phrase gets thrown right out the window, bigots and bias pigs support this guy, end of story, he is not a true CW champion of the world, he is Danny CatchWeight Champion of the lowly IBO.

The contracted weight for Green vs Briggs was all over the news i.e. it was public knowledge.

Perhaps Green stipulated the weight because he wanted to make sure Briggs came in in shape?

Noooo, because that wouldn't fit in with the latest conspiracy theory.

Now for the Flores fight, no mention has been made of a contracted weight other than the Cruiserweight limit of 200lbs.

But it seems whenever there's no news, certain people's imaginations go into overdrive and create scenarios, such as:

"Danny first discussed catch weight with Flores, Flores got the shits, went to the IBO made reference to the fact that if this fight is for the cruiserweight belt, then it should be at the legit 200lb limit.
IBO contacts Danny, says, "Mate, can you fix this **** up", Danny heads to BJ and says, "Ok mate, if you weigh in well under 200lb we'll give you more cash"."

    and:

"Thats pretty much whats happen. Some things cant always be posted on forums to provide as proof/evidence but its not hard for someone with half the logic to work out whats going on here."

    and:

"Ive been told Flores complained to the IBO about the catchweight Greens camp wanted him to come in at (185LB), and that the IBO wants to restore credibility with this fight so they have knocked back the catchweight and are allowing BJ to weigh in at the CW Limit of 200LB. This was only disscoverd a few days ago, im not sure when BJ complained to the IBO.

Someone mention BJ doesnt read much etc, its starting to sound like BJ didnt fully read the orignal contract and has then lodged a complaint from his training camp in USA after he signed on the dotted line."

Yet not one single link to back any of it up...clownarsed mother****ers:lol:

Danny Green is always going to cop criticism from most within the boxing industry unless he is willing to fight at the 200 pound Cruiserweight limit & not have opponents weigh the lightest they have in their entire careers.
Thats the cold hearted truth & im trying to remain neutral & see both sides of the argument here....

Flores will be every bit as big as he normally is come fight time... Flores' weight is such a non-event it's laughable. As I stated, the bigger story is Green carrying the extra weight. If I was a Green fan, that would possibly give me some reason for concern.
