Whats your opinions on who hit harder?
ive always felt Tyson, but i feel Lewis' power is sometimes underrated
They had a lot of mutual opponents including Tyrell Biggs, Razor Ruddock, Tony Tucker, Frank Bruno, Andrew Golota, Frans Botha and Evander Holyfield.

I think Lewis probably hit harder, but I think Tyson's speed accompanied with his power made his punches more destructive and affective.

I picked Lewis, based on one punch landing. Tyson's power was that he threw combinations, and it was the landing of two or three punches that caused such destruction. But on a simply power punch, I think Lewis's overhand right, and his upper cut exceeded any one punch that Tyson threw, although he did throw a wicked uppercut himself.

    I think on the one-punch, it's Lewis.

Tyson hit plenty hard enough to get anyone out of there.

The thing that made Tyson so impressive was his handspeed and punch placement. That, coupled with his notable power, made for some good highlights...

  6. interview to oliver

Boxinginsider.com: You are renowned for being able to take a big punch. Who was the hardest puncher you faced?

Oliver McCall: “Bert Cooper. Left hook. That was the hardest punch that I ever felt and that I had to overcome. It felt like a truck had hit me. I never got hit by a truck but it felt like if a truck would have hit me.”

Boxinginsider.com: Who else was up there? Lennox?

Oliver McCall: “No, Lennox wasn’t one of the hardest punchers that I – Buster Douglas hit me harder than Lennox did. Right hand.”

Boxinginsider.com: How about Tyson? He has to be up there?

Oliver McCall: “Tyson’s right there too. Lennox would probably be about fifth.”

  7. tyson was harder puncher than lewis with a single shot, 4 shots or 35 shots

    This argument is pointless.

It's like asking a dog trainer who does protection training with dogs: "who bites harder, a Rottweiller or German Shepard?"

The answer is: It doesn't matter; both with break both bones in your forearm easily and maul a grown, strong man... They will both hurt you.

It's the same story with Lewis and Tyson. They will both have the power to knock the dicks off of most people they fight...

You miss my point when I literally spelled it out...

By the way, I have done bite training with all the dogs mentioned except the english bulldog, who I've never heard of doing any actual bite training, and they all bite plenty hard enough.

The american pitbull bites harder than all of them, so what?

    Look again to my point.

Tyson. Just look at his little short hook inside against Berbick. Thats pure power. Lewis sure aint far behind though.

  14. presa canario has blood of pitbull , old english bulldog, pastor majorero.. the presa is basically the pitbull but bigger, stronger, much heavier, bigger head, more muscular and more noble with the kids .... yes i understood your point

Depends how you look at it. I think if you measured each of their hardest possible punches there wouldn't be that much in it.
Tyson had a greater variety of power punches, he was faster and every punch he threw was hard-the same isn't true for Lewis.
It's possible Lewis hit a little harder than Tyson when he really loaded up his right hand but Tyson was the better puncher.
So I'm voting Tyson on that basis.
