Even though it's not the actual World Belt it counts for something. It's like saying " the President " and " the Vice President ". Sooner or later Rigondeaux will grab the actual World Titles, I included him in the list because he will grab the real Title very soon. Just by seeing your avatar picture I know why you speak harsh words... :good

Que pasa? The Cubans are getting on your nerves? :-( No need for that...:good

I hate to burst your bubble but I don't hold anything against Cubans I'm from the UK so sadly have little connection with Cubans or Puerto Ricans so my words where more from you giving Rigondeaux credit for being a World Champion when he clearly isn't. Otherwise I actually agree with what you said in the op.

I will agree with you if he takes on Ryol Li Lee next fight for the proper WBA World Title.

But I think we will almost certainly see him make 1 or 2 defense's of his interim title before either magically being made WBA Ordinary Champ with Lee being made Super Champ for no reason what so ever or he will go down an easier route for a title i.e. Steve Molitor.

OK, that's cool brother. Yeah, an " Interim World Title " is in my opinion the Vice Champion, so in a way it's almost worth like the regular Championship Title.

Let's see how they handle Rigo's next matches, I would love for him to defend that Belt at least 2 times and then go straight for Vazquez Jr, Molitor, Ryol Li Lee and the others! He needs at least 2-3 more " confidence fights " to boost up and polish his skills... :good

That's funny. Skills is what actually make a boxer go a long way, and Rigondeaux has plenty of that. Now, that he is not your typical " slugger " he is not and will never be. Like I said, there are diferences in being a boxing fan and a fight fan. I personally, am a boxing fan...:good

I love good boxing as much as the next guy, but after about the fifth round, there was very little boxing going on.

Anyway, I stand by my stance that he needs to learn how to set up offense better and throw more than one punch at a time, instead of just always waiting for the perfect punch. Eventually he'll face a volume puncher who can cut off the ring and he'll lose on points because that's how most American judges look at the fight.

You maybe right, but all volume punchers, are open to counters and that is Rigondeaux strenght, and he is a heck of puncher too, in any case I'll give him a pass in this one, considering all the facts, Cordoba didn't know how to cut the ring off, and didn't do much on the offensive front either.

The sweet science is not about running all over the ring avoiding your opponent and looking like you're scared. Boxing is about hitting and not getting hit that's the first thing they tell you when you start out.

A boxer puts combinations together and moves around the ring to avoid getting hit and counters with quick combinations. But running around the ring is not the sweet science of boxing especially when you do it after getting hit. That made it seem that he got scared of cordoba.

Rigondeaux is a top quality fighter that is just being rushed abit too fast.

You all want to talk about an overrated Cuban...Ugas. Nuff'said.
