that ****** pac needs to take the test

but your right hes not faster, he slowed a bit, still fast enough tho, he is stronger but all fighters get that way, Mosley old ass is banging harder then any****ing body at 39 you really dont get that grown man power till about 35 thats were you peak but you better be a smart mutha****a to compete at that age with the faster fighters and your power better be like mosleys

He is somewhat slower. That's the reason he refused to go above 150 claiming he felt slower. Definitely not as fast as when fighting at 130.

Pacquiao didn't increase speed as he went up but he managed to keep a lot ala James Toney. Power? Some fighters move up and gain power bc making weight was difficult, some lose power or are not as strong, and some are lucky to keep it or increase it. Pac just grew into his new weight which is indeed 140. His improved accuracy is the key IMO and the fact that he worked on his skills to maximize his huge potential.

there are some intangible attributes that pac has that help him compete and dominate in the higher weights. Speed and power is not enough even skills when you're fighting bigger guys... Pac is a natural fighter, this guy has so much fight in him that even when he's hit with power shots by bigger opponents he keeps on fighting and never backs down.

pac's heart, determination and will to win puts him into ATG level.

Its freakish that he is able to maintain all those attributes whilst coming so far up in weight...but any perceived "improvements" in these fields are simply because he is fighting a lower calibre of opposition since he has moved up..they are less skilled and more cumbersome, whereas Pac has barely lost a step since he was fighting MAB, Morales, JMM etc.

One thing about the modern game that certainly has gotten better is fighters can put weight on more effectively..with the time between fights the big names get and the science that is around its certainly a better system than Henry Armstrong necking beers in between his monthly fights just to put on enough weight to get within 10 pounds of his opponent.

One other thing...Manny's drive and training ethic is something else. He gives himself the best opportunity to win with the work he puts in and his natural ability does the rest.

He may have been stronger and maintained his speed, bur I am absolutely convinced that Pac's stamina has deteriorated.

Just look at the Morales and Barrera fights, guy keeps punching up to the very last round with a KO intention.

Agreed. I don't think it's a coincidence that Pacquiao's last 6 opponents have all been come forward fighters expecting to boss Pacquiao around and underestimating his power, hand speed and right hand, have all been demolished.

You are completely right, that is how to deal with the Pacquiao assault and flurries - step the hell out of the way. Move back, back, back and then when he is done come back with the shots. It is a bit harder now he has added that whipping right hand but still if you stepped back consistently he would miss and over-extend. I was trying to work out how to deal with Pacquiao's blitz assault the other day and had completely forgotten about how Morales and Marquez just stepped out of range and then fired back. Good job! :happy

The part in red is something most Floyd fans are ignorant of.

And also, Pacman is at an age where he will naturally add some muscle mass as he went from his late 20's to his early 30's. Even Floyd naturally added more muscle mass during this same time period. Floyd was not a true WW a few years ago but he is now.

No, I think it's still Marquez. Cotto is just to slow to counterpunch aside from the fact that Pac has learned how to time his opponent's punches and sneak in a counter right or left. Cases in point are Diaz, Cotto, and Margarito.

OK. So now he is not cutting fighting at normal weight. Fine. For some reason now he is sparking out guys no problem. This in and of itself is unusual. This is something you *******s who know nothing about boxing are ignorant of.

There is NO FIGHTER bar heavy weights that fight at their "I don't need to cut" weight. Why? They would be out gunned by everyone else who cut to get to the weight. Show us an example of the fighter who does it? Add to this the FACT that Pac is dispatching guys with solid beards when he couldn't easily dispatch guys at just a few pounds less? Something is fishy.

Add to this that Pac won't drug test and in a sport with a spine or sense you would have a scandal. :deal

Are you really that stupid? Pacquiao was draining himself to make 122/26/30; he'll be weaker of course. You *****s are always pointing out that Pacquiao wants to make his opponents lose weight to drain and "weaken" them.

What's your logic with Pacquiao? Pacquiao should've been stronger when he was at the lower weight classes because he's cutting weight, not that Pacquiao doesn't have to cut his weight he should be weaker? Seriously?

He's beating the **** out of his opponent because of hard work, courage, and talent.

Oh by the way, MOST of Pacquiao's fights never lasted 6 rounds in the lower weight classes. :deal
