As much of a Danny Green fan that I am I have gotta say what a Booooooring fight. Both men not wanting to go after each other or unload any combos so what we end up with is a single punch-fest.

Still will say Congrats to Green for his win and a good win at that but really it was just simple and boring BUT WE ALL KNOW!!!!! Michael Katsidis is gonna bring a war to the Tv's and pubs around Australia and the rest of the world!

I didn't think it was bad at all. It was a very technical fight, and I think Green surprised alot of people that he can box.

Perhaps the problem was they both had a strategy to let the other press and counter, which means nobody really presses the fight. I'm still satisfied with the win.

You can't compare Katsidis to Green - Katsidis-Marquez easily the fight I'm most looking forward to.

 

If Flores fought with half the will of the fighter in your avatar we would have a great fight on our hands last night :deal

 

McGowan should move under Green's gym, get some good exposure on an undercard.

 

I still dont like her for beating up Angie Parr...twice :blood...but credit where its due.....she comes to fight :deal

didnt watch the fight but Fox Sports News made out it was a really exciting fight.agree about Kats/JMM.

 

This has nothing to do with dissing Danny Green, i dont really care about Danny Green, but im not going to pay him out either. This is simply a case of using reason and logic and looking at facts. Reason and logic will tell you BJ Flores is like a fkn ant in the scheme of things when comparing him as an opponent to Juan Manuel Marquez. (p4p/quality of opponent , not physical size ofcourse)

but what happens and what constantly leaves me GOBSMACKED is, all Oz mainstream media, wacks two page spreads about his return to form, and this was for the people etc but i have seen FCK ALL on katsidis in DT, SMH, even a DECENT sized article talking up katsidis' fight.

 

I saw Lovemore's car yesterday...the second time Ive seen it in a week.

Its one of those 300C Chryslers...but he has stuck on these dimonte studded badges on the back that say Lovemore Ndou, more money or something like that.

Another guy that deserves more recognition..He has a really big fight on in like 3 weeks.

 

Saul Alvarez isnt it?the Mexican ranga. is it on PPV? do you think Lovemore has a chance? 2 fights i've seen from
Alvarez this kid is very good.

I expect Lovemore to give a honest account of himself as always & lose a competitive decision to Alvarez.
