if he manages to beat Paul Williams in a decisive manner? IMO, wins over Williams and Pavlik carry much more weight than wins over Clottey and Margarito.

And am I missing anybody else who could be in contention for the award? One of the Klits maybe?

Round Fkcing 8 of Pacquiao vs Margarito is a WAR. If you don't know what I mean rewatch it again, luckily i recorded mine on HD receiver. Pacquiao and Margarito Toe to Toe for almost the entire round Blow by Blow, Toe To Toe you named it they did it.

It means that i doubt anything Sergio and Paul Williams does on their upcoming fight will not supass the Round 8 of Pac vs Cheato

Even if decisive itll be hard to bump Pac. The visual of a small guy beating all these giants fascinates the boxing circles. And theres no way Sergio can lay a beating the way Manny did to Margo. Rewatch the 4th round. That has to be one of the finest display of offense in the ring.

Post a link to one single positive Pavlik post you ever made, and I will believe you are something other than a hypocritical piece of garbage.

When a blownup lightweight puts up the following numbers against a dangerous superwelterweight and former world champion, Sergio Martinez has a lot of work in front of him to get FOTY.

    Pacquiao's Compubox Stats (Margarito fight)

    Total punches landed: 474
    Total punches thrown: 1,069.......(44%)

    Total power punches landed: 411
    Total power punches thrown: 713......(58%)

I think most people if they look at it without bias, know that if Sergio Martinez beats Williams in good fashion, he is without a doubt Fighter of the Year. If Martinez is succesful come Saturday, he deserves it.
