i dont know if heavy loads give you a testosterone boost and i have to take your word for it cause i dont care to research it but ive also heard that just working your larger muscles like your legs and core also results in a testosterone boost assisting in recovery. from my own reading a 5 min jog to warm up then a few sprints before a work out has the same result and could be just as effective as heavy load squats and dead lifts.
What do you think the deadlifts and squats are working? Doing sprints directly before your weights would be abit impractical wouldn't you think? You need base strength anyway and doing the squats and deadlifts are going to kill that bird aswell.
they are going to be working your legs....my point wasnt that you shouldnt do them but that you dont need to do them with heavy loads. as well that things like bench pressing with heavy loads wont have the same effect as your not working as large a muscle as your legs and core even though your still using a heavy load.....even though with proper form you should still be slightly activating your legs and core as stabalizers and synergysts. why would doing sprints before weights be impratical? aside from if your allready planning on working your legs of course.
Most people do weights in the gym, wouldn't it be alot easier to do your squats and deadlifts at the same time as the rest of your exercises? Hitting the track and then immediately going to the gym is abit odd, why not just get everything done in the gym? I can see you doing something like that though.
Lefty is right. Give me the article you got this information from, its the biggest load of bull**** I've seen you say in a day or two. Are you seriously suggesting a few sprints will have the same result as deadlifting 500lbs 10 times?
Even if you train for hypertrophy you still want to throw in some heavy loads to work on strength. And? Obviously it fatigues and weakens the muscles involed, I'd have thought that was obvious.
lol you make worthless stupid posts, i dont plan on entertaining them any more. have a nice life in your own little world where everything you say is correct reguardless fo your lack of logic proof or reasoning.
:rofl:rofl:rofl Oh the irony!!! :rofl:rofl:rofl Please explain where I was wrong and give proof of it. I think your problem is that I always correct you because you're always wrong. Must be a blow to your overdeveloped ego...
see where your proof is that im allways wrong my proof is not a ******ed assumption that i pull out of my ass like the many things that you say every day.
Keep on reading, mate. Maybe in a few years you'll look back at these threads and be a bit embarrassed over your own stupidity but at least in those couple of years you may have learned something... Then again maybe not.
You see the problem is 90% of what I say is common knowledge within the fitness community, you'd know this if you had a clue. That's why near enough everyone agrees with 99% of the stuff I say and you're just laughed at.
