I see that utter nonsense all the time, they're deluded if they can't understand that Tyson is the most potent brand of Kryptonite for their Klit bros.

It's hilarious when they call high quality fighter such as Tucker, Ruddock, Bruno & Berbick "bums", then go on to champion the miserable Klit opponents.

In the past i have given them too much credit
    i recently watched

    Wk Vs Chambers
    WK Vs Sanders
    VK vs Sanders

I confidently say that Tyson would have knocked both these guys the **** out. Hell id pick Buster Douglas to beat them both.

Clearly Kelly is smooth-muscled, A, but I think he has wide shoulders.

He just comes across as a skinny lanky dude....
looks like the sort of guy you would find in the local pub, rather than a local gym.

Not only is Duran's name once again put forward in a thread in which he doesnt belong, but also incredibly ironically you posted a picture of him with massive, pulsating biceps and pectorals, in a thread that is supposed to example muscle not fitting into the equation

    Good work

People get power from different places.
Leg punchers I think are the killers that carry their power with them.
What is a leg puncher, Ali, Holmes, Nasem Hamed, Manny.

Bruno, Hatton, Jeff Lacey, David Tua, Nigel Benn are all upper body guys who have typical boxer profiles with a lot of power in shoulders and arms.

Leg punchers are always better, because punching is all about leverage. The distance to the end of your arm if you punch from the balls of your feet is about eight feet. Leg punchers typically have big calves and use all the body to generate power. The turning motions do not just come mostly from the waist up. They actually come from the legs this means they do not have stamina issues.

This is because your legs are the most efficient and fitness group of muscles. Leg punchers can look like stick insects but still take your head off. In fact I cry when I here boxers use weights. A good leg punchers always beats a classic upper body puncher, because they get maximum leverage have the best footwork and do not have stamina issues with their power.

Lifting weights will only steal your speed if you know any boxers get them to dump the weights and watch Ali, Louis, Haye (screams I here), Roy Jones, Sugar ray Robinson, Nasem Hamed, Manny. Yes Roach is turning Khan into a leg puncher.

The young Tyson I class as a leg puncher. He had the legs to run around a rugby pitch, would have made a great 7. David Tua in comparison I would class as an upper body puncher. Tyson may be short but he certainily used his legs early on. In fact a lot of his decline was down to lose of movement. Not just the legs but head and waist to.

If he had kept the footwork, the waist and head would have natural stayed the same keeping his power and making him more difficult to hit. Tyson lost his footwork first and everything else followed bit by bit. I feel Tyson got lazy in the gym prior to the Douglas fight. Tony Tucker had already gone 12 rounds with Tyson with a broken hand so tyson was overhyped to a degree. But Tucker beat Douglas and was a better fighter than any version of Douglas.

If Tucker had not broke his hand, I would have favoured Tyson to win 60/40. I get your point it is hard to see tyson as a leg puncher. However if you take away Tyson explosive clossing of the distance and put most boxers legs on him. Do you think he would generate the same power?

I can not see it. The young Tyson legs made a hell of a difference to his power to my mind.

I rather think that the legs are the most important element for all punchers, including those you identify as using the upper body extensivley.

Also, plenty of Italians. Narrow sloped shoulder, big traps, stubby legs. Runs in the family
