Not even wack because they are racially insensitive which doesn't really bother me but they are wack because throughout pacs career there really weren't to many black fighters he could have fought until recently. people always mention zaheer rahiem which is one but besides that I can't think of anyone below 135 that would have made sense for pac to fight

only guys now are devon alexander tim bradley floyd zab berto and shane. and that has only been within the past 2 years

I think what BHOP and plenty other of people are actually trying to say is Pacman has been avoiding slick boxers along his travels to greatness. But some people are so pro black American that they think only slick boxers are Afro American

BHOP said it specifically had to be a black fighter from the inner-city ghetto of the US.... pretty hard to misinterpret what he said.

 Maybe true....but I gotta give props to Pirog. I don't know how good he'll end up being, but I like his style. He's pretty slick and doesn't have the type of style that you'd normally expect to see from a european fighter.

They havent really been putting him in with Slick boxers, this is true.

People mostly attribute that style of fighting to black americans, but black americans arent the only ones who can fight that way.

JMM can be used as an example. And that style will always give Pac problems, even in victory.

I didn't take Bhops comments as offensive. It may seem racial to some but I thought he was alluding that Manny hadn't faced that slick style, which happens to be a style that is associated with African American boxers. Maybe he could have chosen his words better. I like that one theory from the ESPN reporter saying he thinks Bhop is really trying to call out Floyd so his point could be proven, that a slick style could defeat Manny Pacquiao.

Bernard Hopkins is one of the greatest boxers of our time, he pretty much said that the great black fighters of all time would put an ass whooping on Pacquiao's style, he pretty much said Floyd would whoop Pac's ass.

Btw Pacquiao ducked Mosley after he killed Margarito, I remember Roach saying something along the lines of we don't want any part of Mosley ha, and Mosley isn't even a slick boxer.Bob Arum is going to milk Pac dry then allow him to take the tests and he will get pot shot like a can all night.

I'm a big B-Hop fan, but his comments are pretty stupid. I can't be bothered writing it all again, so I'mma copy and paste:

This thing about Pacquiao avoiding black fighters, is nothing more than an exaggerated myth. It’s simply born from the following two things:

    1. Pacquiao’s least favourable style – Many would say, and I agree with them, that a slick African-American style of boxing and moving, would cause Pacquiao more problems than anything else.

    2. Lack of the above style – During Pacquiao’s ascendance and his now number-one status, it just so happened that no notable opponent had possessed the above attributes for Pacquiao to have faced.

From this, his detractors have put the two together, and forged a theory that Pacquiao has been kept away from black fighters. What a load of nonsense. If this was the case, they wouldn’t be chasing after a fight with a guy who not only possesses this style, but has perfected it better than any other boxer in the last 20 years.
