I don't wanna comment too much on this because I'm not too clued up on how negotiations really work but I wonder if Booth and Sauerland believe there's a way to get this on a pay per view network in Germany. I know it's not the standard over there but a fight with David Haye is massive to the Klitschko's and would be in Germany. I just wonder if they're seeing if they can exploit them for a little more money than the viewers in Germany are currently shelling out. At the moment both Klitschko's generally get most of their money for fights from live attendances rather tv pay per view buys or viewing figures.
Anybody know why Sauerland have a piece of Haye? I can understand Golden Boy having a piece of him but not Sauerland.
Options as part of the deal that made the Valuev fight. It's a 3 fight option, hence why Boente was on about how Team haye might want a fight in the interim to get that out of the way. EDIT: about 50 people got there before me.atsch
Asif! Booth going on about mandatories maybe being an obstacle, Boente is like **** them, they can be moved out of the way for a unification fight. Boente says 50/50 all the way, Booth doesnt really know what to say and mumbles something about German tv money which Boente answers, Booth just sort of smiles and says nothing! And when Boente mentioned Haye's deal with Sauerland he didnt know what to say! He was ****.
He made some good points. His English was fairly good but he clearly had some trouble understanding a couple of questions. Kalle Sauerland speaks English better than most English people but you can't expect it from everyone. I'd like to see how Booth does with German.
Agreed, Boente certainly came out of it better. He won when saying 'you can start negotiations with Vitali now, we'll ask Mr Suliaman and he'll postpone the mandatory challenge'. To which Booth replied: 'We'd rather fight Wladimir, cos he called david a *****'. Boente UD Booth
