Where are the So called Hardcore boxing fans specifically the Mayweather fans who frowns when Pac fought Cotto at a catchweight.

Anyway I agree. Williams already has the advantage ( size, reach, height, age ) against Martinez. Why fight at a catchweight. I am a fan of Maravilla also and I hope a trilogy happens.

I'm rooting for Martinez and I don't see the problem. Martinez has been fighting at 154 most of his career I highly doubt he will be drained at 157. But hey only he knows. Hope he's not.

Williams just fought at 154, Martinez just fought at 160 and is not exactly killing himself to make 160.

157 is fair.

 

PW is still chasing the Pacquiao fight which I'm sure will not happen. He wants to stay as close to weight as possible to try to make himself an option. Martinez should do fine at 157 so I see nothing to cry about until Saturday. I'm a fan of both and expect to see another war and I also expect to see the usual ESB crying:|:|:| & delusions lol.
