It was not on the undercard of the First Ali-Quarry fight.

 

Rogan comeback keeps rolling
19 November 2010 - Jonny Stapleton Martin Rogan takes step two of a journey that he believes will lead to heavyweight title honours in Castlebar on Saturday but has called for people to patient as he ascends back to the top.
The big man, who claims he is the best heavyweight ever to emerge from Ireland, made little work of Yavor Marinchev (5-21)in his comeback fight in Limerick and would be expected to do the same against Werner Kreiskott (8-14).
However, the former Commonwealth champion has defended his new manager’s Brian Peter’s policy of easing him back into the game after a year absence due to a career threatening injury - and is adamant it won’t be long before he is challenging at the top again. Ireland’s most charismatic boxer, who weighed in at 16‘8lbs yesterday, has his sights set on a European title and plans to become the first Irish born heavyweight champion of the world.
But first the Belfast puncher, who labelled the David Haye and Audley Harrison fight a joke as soon as it was made, must first over come tonight’s fight.
“I am fitter and trimmer for this fight and the extra few weeks training will stand to me,” Rogan told Mirror Sport after the weigh in. “I don’t believe there are easy fights in boxing. One punch can determine a fight and any fighter can be dangerous. I can only fight what is put in front of me and I aim to win tomorrow. I never had it easy before I took fights with guys all ranked above me. I am only back from a serious injury and I am going to build my way back to the top. I have been out for a year and there is no point coming back and diving straight in. I hope people understand that,” he added before claiming he will reign supreme once again.
“I believe I have achieved more than any Irish heavyweight. I was top ten in the world. I was Commonwealth champ and I beat the European champion. I am proud of that but the journey is not over for the ‘Iron Man’. I hope to get a EBU shot soon and that is the path Brian has laid out for me and I will be back bigger and better.”

A little bet on the prizefighter for tomorrow night.
Done Choi 2/5 , Buckland 4/11 , Sykes 2/7 and Matthews 11/10 all to win there first fights of the night in a accumulator. Will do a couple more tomorrow on the Williams fight and maybe go for Martinez to win by KO in that fight aswell.
