I do. This sounds reasonable. Pac always had good punch resistance when it comes to the head. It just seems astonishing to me how well he can take clean punches by guys who are natural welterweights and even bigger. Only one objection to your post, Tarver is clearly a bigger puncher than Johnson. He can be considered a very good puncher.
Actually the way you put it kinda gives me a way to explain/illuminate things more. Most people on here know about the knockout reflex....basically a knockout happens when your brain bangs from one surface of the skull to the opposite surface. So in otherwords the greater the jolt, shock or force the greater the chance it is going to cause a knockout. Jake LeMotta once tried to explain that the way he was able to take so many shots was to go into a "metative" relaxed state. It might honestly be that pacquiao has more time to relax and take it (thus lowering the force/shock of impact) when he is fighting bigger slower fighters then he could when he was younger. This is one theory that you could draw from observing his career. Personally, I wouldn't exactly go so far as the believe this but there could be an element of truth to it. I think its more a case of him mentally getting better at taking the shots from being more mature in the ring. The wieght draining thing also is a good theory although typically not being wt drained wouldn`t make you able to go from getting knocked around at 115 lbs to being able to take it at 150 lbs....thats just wierd.
so floyd is better than pacquiao, you are right. are you happy now, is that what you want to hear. do you get horny when I say floyd is the best
****ing ******. Why bring Mayweather in this thread. ******* pretending as a *****, pathetic. Try harder.:-(
he has a great chin plus the preparation for the fight. I was watching a program name stan lee's super humans and there are some people that do things that regular people cant do, pacquiao is not a super human but he is special and anything they say that he uses drugs, it has to be proved
Well.. changing name from Marshmallows to Hotdogs doesnt mean your brain capacity improved. It's still shallow as mallows. By the way i miss your hippo look avatar :-(
The stupid ref called it a knock down when it was obviously a slip. Things like this happen, but in the end of the day you look at the record and resume of fighters, and obviously we have Floyd topping the accomplishments of Pacquiao. :deal
