Will Pacman Stop Shane Mosley if they fight??

Although most of us here agree the fight should not happen, who else out there in welterweight division?

 

I Hope Floyd comes out of vacation.

 

If clinching Pac is his gameplan he's going to be in for a long night.

 

Mosley is tailor made for Pac even more. He can't deal with movement, and Pac is the guy who moves around the ring more than anyone. Margo at least can wear opponents down, Mosley doesn't have that in his repertoire.

 

I dont think Shane will go out on his back, but the fight will be stopped in around the 10th round from the punishment received.

 

How about Mosley vs. Cotto 2?

 

a way past prime shane still has a decent chin. i find it hard to see a ko for pac, but it's highly possible

 

Tough tough fight regardless of Mosleys age & Pac will ship plenty of punishment.

 

Mosley will be heavily gassed near the end, allowing Pac to land shots at will.

Pac will either carry him to the end, or the corner/ref will intervene.

 

Margarito's corner should have stopped it. Manny broke is face for **** sake.

 

Probably a late stoppage, highly possible against a clean Mosley.

 

If Mosley gets hit by Pac with the amount of punches that Margs took -- yes, he will get stopped.

 

TKO at most. can't see pac knocking mosley out

 

Jay Nady and Kenny Bayless would have stopped it in the 10th or 11th. FMJ couldn't stop JMM, so what's your point?

 

People are mentioning mosley's iron chin. The thread title is asking about a stoppage, not an outright KO. Wayne Mcculough is probably the most iron chinned fighter I have ever seen and even he was stopped by a relativly light puncher. No matter how much you can take a punch, when it turns into hundres of them it becomes a problem. At this age and this stage in his career I don't think Mosley wants to get hit that many times even in the event that he is that crazy I imagine his corner or the ref would save him from himself.
